Ivanna

Year 1941, after the spark of the second world war, imperial Japan invaded the Philippines. Many Filipinos lived in oppression and was forced to mount a vigorous guerilla offensive and organize a resistance movement against the japanese military rule. One of these guerilla movements was ruled by Ivanna Ramirez, a woman in her twenties. Her group is known for saving countless of women who were forced to work as sexual slave labor in Japanese military brothels.

"Sino si Ivanna Ramirez?" Adeline Cabrera asked herself while staring at the photograph of a woman beside a statue. "I look like her."
