A prayer to someone greater

Do you not hear my cries?
Do you not feel my pain?
I am crying out with no reply.
Do you not see that I am at the
brink of despair?
Why aren't you here? Why must
I suffer alone?
My heart is broken, can't you see that?
My very soul is dead.
I am in utter darkness, are you not my
light? Do my prayers
mean nothing to you?
I am tired, please let me rest, let me rest.
Ease my pain. Let me be free from this.
My heart aches so badly.
Each breath is a challenge, do you know
I wish stop my heart from beating?
Do you know I look forward to the day I breathe
my very last?  It does not feel like your here
in my darkest hours. Please allow me to
rest. I need rest.
