Thunder crackled outside my window, waking me from my sleep. I paniced a second, then realized it was the storm raging outside my window. My heart began to beat faster and I crawled under the covers. I hated thunder storms, with a fiery burning passion. I've had a lot of horible memories with thunder storms, most of them revolving around the bullying I had growing up. I couldn't fall back asleep and decided to go downstairs. No lights were on, so the only lead I had was from the lightning that flashed outside my windows. I could feel my body shaking as I turned on my lamp in the living room. It lit up the room a little, but it didn't to much help. I heard my phone ringing upstairs, and I sprinted up the stairs after it. I grabbed it off my dresser and checked who was calling. Ronnie's picture was on the screen.

"Hello?" I said, voice shaking some.

"Zayn, are you okay? You sound pretty scared," she said, a hint of laughter in her voice. She doesn't know about my storm discomfort.

"Um, I'm kinda freaked out," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady. It didn't work very well.

"Wait, is the storm really scaring you some?" she asked, more serious now.

"Really bad."

"Do you want me to come get you? You sound really scared." I looked out the window as the sky lit up and thunder shook my house. I flinched and hugged myself out of fear.

"Please," I wimpered pathetically. She hung up and I slipped my phone into my pocket. I unlocked the front door for Ronnie and wrapped a blanket around my trembling body. I tried to relax some, but I couldn't. I was too scared. My eyes wondered to the sliding glass doors that lead out to my pool. Lightning flashed, revealing a figure standing on the other side of my pool. I held my breath as I slowly made my way to the door. Thunder crackled and I wrapped the blanket tighter around me. Lightning lit up the sky again and the figure was right in front of me. The light revealed Gabe's face, a smile spreading across it. I screamed and dashed into the kitchen. I ducked behind the counter and pulled the blanket over my head. I wrapped my arms around my shaking body and closed my eyes, tears slipping out the corners of them.

"Ronnie, where are you?" I wimpered. I sat there a while longer until the front door opened.

"Zayn?" she said. I didn't move from where I was.

"I'm in the kitchen," I wimpered like a scared little puppy. I heard her squishy feet walk into the kitchen and she lifted the blanket covering my head. I looked up at her, realizing I must look so pathetic right now.

"Zayn, are you alright?" she asked calmly. I wiped my face with the blanket and tried to breath normally. "Here, come on," she said, taking my shaking hand. She pulled me to my feet and leaned me against the counter. Ronnie wrapped her arms around my waist and rubbed my back lightly. I never realized how tall she was. She was only a few inches shorter then me. "It's okay Zayn, it's okay. I tried to calm down, but I couldn't. Gabe was outside my house, how could I calm down?!

"Zayn, you're shaking harder, relax some honey," she said in a low voice. She moved back and met my eyes. Her eyes are so pretty. "Do you want to stay the night at my place? Liam and Niall lost power, so they're there too." I nodded and she walked me to the door. I pulled the blanket over both of us and we walked out to the pickup truck Harry got her. She climbed into the drivers side and I walked over to the passenger side. I climbed in as she started the truck up. The drive to Harry's was slow and careful, the wind throwing us around the road. I was freaking out when the truck would slide into another lane, but I would contain it as fast as it came. She pulled into her driveway and turned off the truck. We both climbed out of the drivers side and wer ran inside. We still got really wet.

"I got Harry!" Ronnie yelled as we walked in. Niall met me at the door, wrapping his arms around me.

"Blimey Zayn, you're shaking like a chiwhawa," he said, walking me into the living room. Louis was asleep in the recliner and Harry and Liam were looking through the movies. Harry looked at me and noticed my shaking.

"Do you want some dry clothes?" he asked, putting a movie back on the shelf. My body covered in chill bumps as the cold rain water met my skin. I nodded and Harry lead me upstairs to his room.

"I thought the storm might scare you mate," he said as he closed the door to his room. I sat on his bed and he dug through his drawers. He tossed me a gray shirt and some black sweat pants.

"It's not all the storm," I said, sliding the blanket off my shoulders. Harry sat next to me and took the blanket.

"What is it then?"

"You remember earlier? When Gabe was in my house?" Harry rolled his eyes a little bit.

"Yes, I do."

"She was there again. She was outside my house when I came downstairs." Harry avoided my eyes. He thought I was nuts.

"Zayn, there is no girl named Gabe. She wasn't in your house, she wasn't outside it, and she doesn't really exist."

"Yes she is!" I protested. Harry grabbed the clothes and shoved them into my chest.

"Just get dressed," he mumbled as he walked to the door. He left and slammed he door on his way out. I stared at the clothes in my hand, slowly changing. Why was he so mad at me? Gabe really is real. I know because I'm not crazy like he was when he went to rehab. If anything, he and his girlfriend are the crazy ones. I left the bedroom and walked downstairs. Harry and Ronnie were laying on the sofa, her head in his lap. Louis was still in the recliner and Liam was laying on the floor. The only available seat was next to Niall. I stepped over Liam and plopped in the seat as the movies started. It was one of the Paranormal Activity movies.

"I hate scary movies," Niall whispered. I nodded and he inched a little to me. Niall is easily scared from horror movies. At some point, his hand slipped into mine and he cuddled into my arm. I didn't care, because I wasn't really paying attention. I was too worried about Gabe. Why was she after me? Why is she stalking me? My life felt like a horror movie. Before I knew it, the credits began to roll. Liam was crashed on the floor and Ronnie was falling asleep in Harry's lap. Louis never woke up. He must have been really tired from being sick. I looked down at Niall, who was asleep on my arm. The thunder storm was still raging outside. I set my head on Niall's and he cuddled closer to me.

"Harry?" I whispered. His head rose up and he looked at me.

"Yes?"

"What time is it?" Harry pulled out his phone and checked the time.

"Almost three." I nodded and Niall wrapped his arms around me like I was a giant teddy bear. Well, this is slightly akward. I burried my face into Niall's blonde hair and slowly drifted away into sleep.
