"Zayn? Zaaaayn?" an angelic voice said, capturing my attention. I kept my eyes clothes and pulled the pillow I was holding closer to me. "Zayn, wake up," she said again. I smiled, keeping my eyes closed. The pillow squirmed and someone flicked me in the eye.

"Oww," I said, opening my one good eye. Ronnie was wrapped up in my arm, not a pillow. Well, this is a little akward. "Morning Ron." Ronnie pushed my arm off of her turned to me.

"Why are you in my bed?" she asked. She didn't sound mad, maybe just a little lost.

"You didn't want to be alone, so I decided to stay," I explained. She seemed convinced and rolled out of bed as I fell on my back.

"Zayn, can you do me a favor?" Ronnie asked, taking her top off. I stared at her bare back dumbly.

"Uh, yeah, sure."

"Can you grab my meds off the counter?" My heart tightened at the thought of her on medication. I sat up and rubbed my face, the memory of Ronnie's smooth, bare back in my mind.

"Yeah. Do you want some water?" I asked, standing up.

"If you feel like making some. I can take them dry." I nodded and walked out of the room. The house was strangely quiet as I stepped out of the hall. Harry was sitting at the bar, drinking a cup of coffee. I don't know where Louis was. I was getting a frightening vibe from him as I walked into the kitchen.

"Hey Harry," I said cheerfully. His eyes stayed on his cup, the energy in the room growing darker.

"Hi," he said bitterly. I glanced to the side and saw Ronnie's meds on the counter.

"So, how was your night?" I asked, trying to make some level of conversation.

"Fine, I bet you had a fun night," he said bitterly, taking a sip of his coffee. I took the meds as the knife from his words stabbed me in the back.

"I wasn't sleeping with her Harry."

"Well, when you come home and you find your girlfriend and your best mate who, for the record, was half naked in a bed together, you think certain things." I held the bottle tightly in my hand, wishing I could be anywhere but here.

"Harry, please belive me. While you were gone, she..." Harry's eyes rose and he looked at me angrily.

"She what?" I looked to see if Ronnie or Louis was coming before I moved closer to him.

"She relapsed. She called me and I came here to find her bloody and crying." Harry's face lost every drop of color.

"She what?" he wimpred. I just looked at him, too scared to repeat what I just said.

"Ronnie called me. I didn't just show up out of the blue like that Adele song."

"But why did she call you?" I shrugged and looked down at the meds in my hand. The bottle was almost full. Ronnie's real name is Ronella? What a name. "What did you two do last night?"

"We made popcorn, talked a little, and watched Perception."

"But Ronnie doesn't have a t.v. in her room."

"Yeah, we watched it in the living room together. She fell asleep and I carried her back to her room." Harry froze. He's very defensive of his girlfriends.

"You... carried her?" I nodded, scared he might bite me if I spoke. "And you just got in the bed with her?" I didn't know how to explain this part. Ronnie's a much more understanding person then Harry. He's not thrilled about Ronnie in a bed with anyone other then him.

"I didn't have sex with her."

"Do you have feelings for her?"

"What?"

"Do you like my girlfriend?" My fingers drummed the countertop lightly.

"I- yes. I do." Harry sat there quietly until his anger boiled over. He slammed his hand onto the counter and stood up, pacing furiously. I stared at him, a little nervous. If he wanted to fight me, I could easily take him, but I hoped I wouldn't have to. "Harry, I would never do that to you. You know that," I said calmly. Harry looked at me, face tight with anger. "Harry, I'm telling the truth. I would never come between you and Ronnie, okay?"

"Did you kiss her?" he asked, body tense and ready to strike. I almost said no, but I couldn't bring myself to lie to him. Harry lost it and he flung his coffee mug at me. I dropped down as I was soaked in coffee. The mug shattered against the fridge behind me.

"Harry," I said, not believing what just happened. Harry was gripping the counter. I could see Ronnie and Louis on the stairs behind him.

"Get the hell out of my house," he said quietly. I got to my feet and walked out, tossing the pills to Ronnie as I passed her. I didn't bother to get my clothes as I walked out the door. I started my Harley and jumped on, racing down the road quickly. My mind was full of what just happened. Harry's so pissed at me, and I practically just slept with Ronnie. Because of Gabe. She's driving me into the looney bin. I'm like Dr. Pierce on Perception, exept I hurt people instead of helping them. But one thing was true:

Gabe can't bother me if I'm dead.

So I drove through a red light and started a crash, hoping I wouldn't come out of it alive.
