Chapter 6

Hayes POV

I got dressed after I had a shower I grabbed the picnic basket that I asked Jessica to prepare for me I look in it, it has sandwiches and Pepsi and overtop of everything there's a rose omg thank you jess your so smart I think to my self at least I think so. I grab my penny board and board to the park and see Shaelyn sitting on a swing so I walk up to her

And give her a hug. And then I set the blanket down and unpack the food then we started eating, I grabbed the rose and we went to a tree and climbed it we were sitting on separate branches

I then took the rose and said," Shaelyn I've been wanting to ask you this for ever, will you go out with me?" Shaelyn said," Omg yassssss I'll go out with you!!!" We walked to the blanket and packed it.

We went to our boards and we then went to the ice cream shop then we ate our ice cream and then we went to the candy shop. We ate lots of candy and we were so hyper

"Race ya" said Shaelyn as she got on her penny board " ok" I said challenging her and we were both racing each other Shaelyn was infront of me by like 6-7 feet so whatever all of a sudden there was a big pothole "shaelyn!!!! be careful there's a pothole in front of you!" I yelled and then shaelyn fell of her board and I think she hit her head

Shaelyns POV

I heard hayes tell me to be careful and then I went flying I hear hayes saying my name but I can't see anything my head and arm really hurt but I am not sure what happened I then hear him on the phone I think, "mrs. Nordmarken shaelyn fell of her penny board and hit her head she's unconscious"

Then I hear sirens and I feel myself being lifted onto something.

A few hours later

Hayes POV

It's been 2 hours, 2 hours without my girlfriend I am sitting in the waiting room with Nash, Jessica, Shaelyns mom, and her dad Nash and Jessica call me over to where there sitting "you really care about her don't you?" Jessica asked everyone's eyes full of tears "yea I've never felt this way about anyone in my life" I told her

"She'll be ok bud she's a strong girl" Jessica and Nash said because Jessica started crying in mid-sentence so Nash finished it. then the doctor came and said " shaelyn is in stable condition and is done her surgery, she has a mild concussion and a broken arm, she will be waking up in about 10 minutes."

10 minutes later

The doctor came back and said, " is there a hayes here?" " Yea that's me" I told him "well she says she wants you so I came to get you." He told me as we walked to her room I opened the door and ran to her bed and gave her a hug, a nice soft comforting hug.

"Hey babe" I said "hi" she said softly almost like it hurt to talk "well I'll let you rest if you like and later everyone can come in." I told her " no they can come in now " she said " ok and by the way I like your green cast."

"Thanks I got to pick it out myself" she said laughing "ok I'll be right back we should play a trick on them." I told her " yassss well pretend that I don't know anyone or anything okay?" she asked "okay." I told her. and I left I walked over to the family

and said " guys she doesn't remember anything but we have to help her remember things," as soon as I said it skylynn, who by the way just walking in with my mom, said " so shaelyn won't remember me and she won't know that I like playing horsies with her?" " I don't know sky" I told her as I picked her up we all walked in and I said "hey babe" she gave me a strange look "who are you?" She asked " I don't think I have a boyfriend" she said after a pause
Sky went up to her and said " hi shaelyn I am sky we always play horsies together and hayes says he loves you." she said cutely

Within an hour of 'reminding' her if things she said ohhhhh now I remember and than laughed
