Chapter 11:Strengething bonds

(Y/n pov)

"Monster, demons, prowlers of the night yes the creatures of Grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey" said professor port trying to get an ounce of emotion of the class but failed due to what I assume was his "sense of humor" being very washed out, I was sitting in between both my teammates sitting on my left and ruby and her teammates on my right while me and just about everyone else was bored out of there minds watching professor port pace back and forth. I had my head propped up by arm which was on the table in effort to keep me awake, but ruby who was already asleep and snoring quietly next me was also contagious

I kept feeling my eyelids getting heavier and my head tilt towards Haru who was sitting next to me, he must've noticed since the next instant I received a smack across the back of my head

(Y/n):"Ow what the!" I silently screamed as I turned over to ruby ready to hiss at her but I saw she was still visiting a bakery in dreamland since I heard her muttering something about winning a cookie eating contest,which made me immediately turn to Haru next to me who out of the corner of my eye turned his head away but I still saw him shaking a little bit which immediately gave away the fact that it was him

I grimaced at him and used my semblance to wind my leg up through my seat and kick him through his seat and hit him straight in the ass

Haru:"Owww you son of a bitch" he said quietly as he immediately turned towards me and he tried to throw a triangle paper football he'd been making at me. I simply dodged it with my semblance and quickly turned around to see it fly over Ruby's head and hit Weiss who was sitting next to her in the face

Weiss:"ouch"she said as she turned towards us visibly angry at us

we both began to laugh as quietly as we could. I turned towards Haru and raised my hand towards him, he knew what I was getting at since he automatically high fived me as we kept snickering to ourselves

Prof port:"Ahem" he said causing us to settle down and making ruby wake up from her cookie marathon dream to which I assume she was winning "as I was I saying..." he trailed off as we tuned him out since his story was a snooze fest

Professor port:"so who among you believes to be the embodiment of these traits?"

Weiss:"I do sir!" Weiss announced raising her hand while also snapping Me ,Haru and Ruby out of a contest we were having over who could draw the funniest professor port drawing

Professor port:"we'll then let's find out, step forward and face your Opponent" he said as he extended his arm gesturing towards a cage that shaking and was emitting growling noises as a pair of red eyes were peering out from it

(Y/n):"oh this is gonna be good" I muttered as Weiss left to retrieve her battle outfit and rapier

She was gone for a while but returned wearing the same white combat skirt she wore during the initiation, she was the daughter of a multi-million Lien CEO and she was still wearing the same outfit unless she had multiple outfits of the exact same thing

(Y/n):"what talk about a high class fashion sense" I whispered sarcastically over to Haru as he leaned back towards me

Haru:"hey everything is unique in one way or another,maybe she threw the away the other one away and had this made today by a seamstress she had in brought into one of her suitcases" he whispered back to me causing us both to snicker as she readied herself for whatever came out of the cage

Professor port:"alright let the match...begin" as he swung his blunderaxe down onto the lock,smashing it and causing the door to the cage to fall down revealing a boarbatusk inside
