Chapter 19: RUN!!!!!

It was sunny day in vale as people were walking about doing their usual routines. Shopkeepers were opening their stores, people were walking up and down the sidewalks bound for their own individual destinations. Yes, all was good and well until...

(Y/n):"GANGWAY!!!"

A male voice yelled out loud startling a mother and her young son in the process as (Y/n) came charging through a brick wall with the use of his semblance to escape his current pursuer as his feet hit the floor. He nearly fell over from his own running momentum as he managed to prevent himself from falling over.

Son:"Mommy! Mommy! that boy came out of the wall! Did you see that!?!"

The boy yelled ecstatically to his mother who was still catching her breath as she stared wide eyed at the Faunus who'd practically came tumbling out of the wall at both of them.

(Y/n):"well that looks like I finally got her off of my TAIL.....oh Oum where did that come from" he said upon realizing he'd made one of Yang's corny puns.

He patted himself down before straightening his sweater and adjusting his hood, making sure is Faunus features were hidden from view before proceeding to walk down the street...

Penny:"AHA THERE YOU ARE!!!"

Came a loud triumphant shout from above causing (Y/n) to stop mid-stride as a shadow loomed overhead. He quickly looked up and immediately jumped out of the way as a grey blur came down on the exact spot he was standing moments ago, causing a audible thump upon impact with the sidewalk causing a cloud of dust to rise and fly in all directions.

(Y/n), who was laying on his side with his arm held up to shield his eyes was shaken on how close he came to being flattened into roadkill as he lowered his arm as the dust settled. Before him he saw the girl who tried to arrest him moments ago kneeling a few feet away, she was seemingly unharmed as she rose to her feet while smiling and yet the segment of sidewalk she touched down on was fractured and cracked like RZ himself had stomped one of his legs down. Even the woman and her child were in shock as they both recovered from her coughing fit, mouths agape as they saw the destruction before them.

(Y/n):"How did you do that!?!?!" He yelled as the ditzy girl before him as she dusted herself off and smiled at him.

Penny:"I'm sorry but I'm afraid I can't disclose that information with a criminal like you, now come along" she said as she walked towards him with a smile on her face, arms raised and making a grabbing motion with her hands aimed towards him.

(Y/n) felt a chill run through him starting at the base of his tail as it shot out towards his spine up, traveling throughout his whole body as he shuttered towards this seemingly out of the ordinary girl with a very abnormal power.

(Y/n):"L-Look a distraction!" He blurted out pointing behind her.

Penny:"Really!?! Where?!?" She yelled out performing a 180, and raising her hand up to her forehead to scan the area.

(Y/n) was surprised by his dumb idea actually working, but he didn't give it a second thought as he leapt to his feet and immediately bolted down the sidewalk away from her.

Penny:"You aren't getting away that easy!" He heard penny call out from behind her as he continued to run.

(Y/n) made a mad dash down to the opposite end of the street and turned the corner narrowly avoiding a startled woman saddled down with shopping bags, who's eyes were glued to her phone as she walked.

Woman:"Watch were your going asshole!" She yelled at him.

(Y/n):"I can see your Adam's apple SIR!!!" He retorted at her as he ran past her earning a gasp and a recently brewed coffee that was promptly thrown with terrible accuracy as it skewed off from hitting him and instead impacted the windshield of a parked car.
