As the days pass, the bond between Sumi and Hoseok grows stronger. She isn't that nervous around him anymore and tries her best to show her feelings and affection towards him. He still falls in love with her every day, looking after her like the precious princess she is.

Sumi wakes up at noon and looks around the room with a soft groan leaving her lips. She hasn't been feeling very well these past few days as she has been skipping her medication. She feels exhausted for no reason and finds herself out of breath at times but she was used to this since her childhood, it has always been like this.

Grabbing onto a towel, Sumi walks into the restroom and plays some music on her phone while she showers. The first drop hits her skin and she could already feel the stress on her shoulders slowly sweeping away.

She spends her time alone with Mickey and patiently waits for her husband to come back home. The usual time of his arrival has been passed long ago but there's no trace of him. The sun rays had disappeared over the horizon and were replaced with thousands of stars.

Worried, Sumi calls Hoseok a couple of times but he doesn't answer. She leaves some texts asking him if he was okay and waits for a while for his reply, but there wasn't any. Her heart thumps against her ribs at a fast pace as she looks at the clock, scared. Pulse beating in her ears, blocking out all other sounds.

She contemplates for a minute before deciding to call Jimin. Somehow, he always ends up being there for her during hard times. After the dinner together with Hoseok's friends, Sumi got closer to Jimin and Jiya very well so she only asks them for any help.

"Sumi? Is everything alright?"

"Jimin-ah, Hoseok isn't home yet and I can't reach his phone. Do you know where he is?"

Jimin could sense the tension in her voice and a heavy sigh leaves his lip before he could speak.

"Sumi" he pauses.

"Didn't you know that today's the day Hoseok's parents passed away? He usually spends this time at their grave."

Sumi didn't know tears were falling down her cheeks until she gasped for air. Jimin calls out to her from the other side but her phone slips onto her lap as she collapses on the couch.

Why wouldn't he tell this to me? Why is he always trying to be cheerful and hiding everything behind a smile even when he's suffering? He's changing me, making me happy but I can't do anything for him.

Her body wracked with an onslaught of sobs and tears.

It isn't her fault for thinking like this. Sumi's always on the receiving end, hoping that someday he would talk about his real feelings too. She wants him to talk about his struggles and emotions, and want to feel closer to his heart. But Hoseok doesn't show his true self to anyone as he doesn't want to bother them with his problems. He was alone all his life and this is how he grew up, so it's hard for him to change.

Meanwhile, Hoseok looks at the picture of their parents and he wipes his cheek every few seconds. The unexplainable pain tearing his heart into pieces, he was left all alone in the grave. The faint memories of his childhood run on his mind and he feels the hot tears welling up in his eyes again. He had wiped his eyes so much that they were red and swollen. Tombstones are cold and their withering cement, witnessing the tears of sorrow.

He goes back home and sits on the couch with his hands covering his face. Hoseok was never this quite before near Sumi and seeing him like this pains her heart more. She can't stand seeing him miserable like this.

Sumi reaches to hold his face but Hoseok backs away. Her eyes widen as this is the first time he has avoided her. Bringing her hand close to herself, she stands up ready to walk away because Sumi knows well that she's going to burst into tears if she stayed there for another second.

Hoseok grabs her hand and she looks back at him. He gulps his sob with his chest panting heavily as he tries to control his unruly tears.

He hugs her with his head resting on her stomach. His hands on her hips tighten, pulling her in closer and she caresses his head. Tears spilled over and flowed down his face like a river escaping a dam making her shirt wet. The sound of wailing and suffering echoed throughout the house.

"Why me Sumi? What have I done to deserve this? All I wanted was to have a good childhood like everyone and sleep on my mom's lap. Is it that wrong?" he cries, still holding onto his wife like a kid who misses his mom and she pats his head, trying to comfort his pain.

Sumi lifts his head, staring into his eyes with a soft smile on her lips.

His red swollen eyes soften and she pecks his head.

"Please...please don't leave me Sumi"

She sits on his lap with his head against her chest, hugging him close.

"I can't live without you Hoseok."
