Saying goodbye maybe have been the hardest thing he could do. He knew being stuck inside the maze of his own thoughts and not having the sense of direction where to go can be difficult; the exasperation he feels whenever he knew himself that he's running around a maze over and over again. Running the maze to block the thoughts, that perhaps saying goodbye, and letting go is actually an idea he should probably do. The idea that burns the back of his head each day whenever he lets his mind run wild. That is the part of the reason why he blocks it by keeping himself busy, exhausting himself at the end of the day, so he wouldn't be able to dream. He didn't want to fall deep into the maze again, unable feel, or even unable to know what seeks deep inside it. All the fears and pain he's trying to obliterate. However, it's still there. As if the thought of finally letting go and saying goodbye is whispered against his ears each second that passes. It frustrates him mostly, but he knew it's the right thing. He knew even if he let go of Jimin, the red tangled string that connects them is still attach to their finger tips.
Perhaps part of the reason he won't let go is the memories they crated. So much to let go and so much will go to waste. Perhaps he's just simply just stuck inside the maze of his heart. Or, even thought of the path that used to be separated can still crossed once again. So much perhaps, so much what ifs, so much regrets. So much infliction he caused.
However, he'll accept the blame of causing everything. From starting the pain to ending it by hurting both of them. He accept the blame that they're both scarred because of him.
If he does get the chance to start over. So that in the future he's able to meet Jimin once again with a smile. Back to those day where Yoongi's able to hear his high pithed screams, moans, and as he whispers his yoongi's name. Complimenting Jimin in return. To the future where he can show him and make him feel what he lacked of all along.
Though, Yoongi couldn't reach him. Couldn't reach the path that are now separated. In order to stop the pain and he knew it would be difficult to even live life without him, to let go of the memories, maybe he'll finally let go.
It is time to let go.
