I'm going to tell him.
I made up my mind.

I knew this could ruin our friendship but I'm tired.
Exhausted from all these emotions.
These feelings that never fail to drain me of my energy.

A tear slid down my cheek, the look of disgust on your face, once you'd hear the words that'd escape my lips, planted itself in my brain.

Rejection, I'm not ready for it.
Probably never will be.

I sighed deeply, heading towards your locker.

There you stood, your arm around your friend's shoulders.

You saw me heading your way and a frown settled onto your features.

You walked away, motioning me to follow.
We ended up in the janitor's closet.

Your hands gripped my shoulders, "Our deal is off," you spoke, a small smile on your face.

"Why?"

"You'll have to wait to find out the reason," you winked.

My cheeks felt warm. I needn't look at a mirror to know I'm probably as red as a tomato.
