I looked upon the walls and what caught my sight made my heart race.
I stepped closer.
It was the tickets that you bought for us, the tickets for the town carnival.
You framed them and hung it on your wall.
How am I supposed to move on now?
I faced you, when a sudden hug caught me off guard.
You wrapped your arms around my waist, your face placed in the crook of my neck.
I hugged you back without a second thought.
The scent, that I so badly wanted to forget, flooded my nostrils.
"God, I missed you, so so much," a sniffle followed after.
I broke into sobs.
"I missed you too, idiot."
You pulled away, a smile plastered onto your face, a lone tear sliding down your cheek.
"Stop pushing me away," you cried out.
If only you knew.
"I have to, Jungkook."
You kept denying the words.
"Jungkook, it's for the better."
"Where did I go wrong? Did I ever hurt you? If I did, I'm sorry.
I-I just don't like being without you."
Your vulnerable state made my heartache and what's worse was the fact that I was the reason behind your tears.
I only pulled you closer.
We stayed in each other's embrace for what felt like forever, not wanting to let go but for different reasons.
You didn't want to lose a bestfriend.
I didn't want to lose my first love.
