「「A R I A 」」

Yesterday the introductions were done, I got to meet Adekunle's mother and uncle. They were so sweet, I felt a bit happy. At least I won't be all alone, queen Waje and princess Folake offered to show me around Skyvaila and I was elated.

Today was my wedding day, and it was a beautiful day in Skyvaila, it felt a bit different from Masdin but I need to accept the fact that this is my new county. I really felt sick to the core, imagining living with that bastard make my skin crawl.

How will he treat my baby?

I was snapped out of my thoughts when my father shook me. "Iyawo lets go."

I inhaled sharply, and stepped out of the car. I looked at the beautifully decorated church in front of me, it was indeed foreign to me, I still couldn't believe that I am now in Skyvaila.

The flower girls dropped white rose petals onto the red carpet, making a trail for me to walk on. I looked behind me, my best friends were dressed in beautiful peach dresses, they gave me a warm smile of encouragement.

As the music started, Lola grabbed unto my veil, which was as long as the carpet.

I can do this. I said to myself, gripping the flower bouquet, and holding tightly to my father's arm.

A few minutes later, the music had died, I was now facing my soon to be husband. My father placed my hands on Adekunle's hands. "Break her heart and I will kill you, treat her well."

Adekunle grunted before replying, "Yes your majesty." My father smiled and walked away. I hope he wasn't convinced by that dirty lie, I knew my dear soon to be husband was lying.

I completely zoned out, when Adekunle squeezed the life out if my hands, causing me to look up. I frowned, even though he couldn't clearly see my face through my veil.

". . . I do."

"And do you, Adekunle Yetunde, take Ariana Simisola Oluwafemi to be your lawfully wedded wife. . ."

"I do." My legs buckled at the sound of his voice, I needed to breathe.

With that said, the pastor then proceeded to crowing ceremony, since I was no longer the princess of Masdin, I was about to be crowned as the queen of Skyvaila. I low key wished that Adekunle's father was still alive, so that I wouldn't have to marry his useless son, in order for him to become king.

Adekunle lifted my veil up slowly, he was gazing down at me as if I was a chocolate chip cookie that just made its way out of the oven.

The pastor then called upon Adekunle's uncle, Taiwo to crown Adekunle and I. After that the pastor then made up exchange our rings, a few minutes after that, the pastor then spoke again:

"You may kiss the bride."

I really didn't feel like kissing him, but it was all part of the show. Since the whole wedding was being recorded live.

His cold eyes meet mine, as he brought his lips on mine. He let out a growl, making me feel like I was on cloud ten, my body was on fire, I wanted more but I didn't want embarrass myself, so I quickly pulled back.

Look at how you kissed him, like a foolish girl, what happened to not feeling like kissing him? The ugly voice at the back of my head asked.

The church erupted with a round of applause, as the pastor announced our titles, ". . . King Adekunle Yetunde and queen Ariana Simisola Yetunde."

Holy grail! I'm a queen! Me? I can't believe it.

I waved at the cameras, my family and friends, as we danced our way out of the church, receiving many 'congratulations'.

The only thing I was looking forward to was the reception then the after party for our friends, I was ready to bust some moves.

Funny enough, even my stepmother congratulated me, well obviously. The weird part was that she seemed relieved, as if she had gotten something off her list.
