「「A R I A 」」

We were all sited in dinning room, munching the beautiful creation Adekunle made. Folake didn't seem surprised that he could cook such a tasty meal, while I on the other hand was sitting there in shock.

This man has a lot to offer o, better hold on to him. A voice echoed in my mind.

As if! All he ever does is insult me and kiss me, when has he ever decided to have a normal conversation with me?

"Aria? Are you listening?" Folake asked.

"Sorry, no, what were you saying?" I asked, just then I started feeling something making its way up to my thighs.

Has the baby started coming?! Mmh but I'm not in pain. Which kind of pregnancy is this?

"You really don't look so well. . ." Adekunle whispered into my ears, his voice was low and sexy, it made me feel funny. There was something else in his voice. . . He was the one! His hands were on my thighs.

My hands quickly made its was under the table, I felt his warm hands against mine. From the corner of my eyes I could see him smiling at Folake. With an evil smirk on, I pinched his hand hard. When I looked up to him again his face was inches away from mine, I could feel his hot breath fan against my checks, slowly he brought his lips down to my checks and bit my checks.

What type of husband bites his wife's checks?! And at the dinner table for Christ sake!

"Awn! You guys are so cute, the both of you are acting as if I'm not here. Can't you keep your hands to yourself? Kai, married couples of today sha." Adekunle quickly pulled away from me, not before sending me a wink.

"You sef, can't you just go and marry? Stop disturbing married couples."

"Just ignore this yeye man, when the right man comes you will get married, don't rush o!"

"Look at his head like kola nut, abeg I'm going home now." She got up and gave me a hug, then proceeded to her brother. "Thanks for having me."

"Ah ah, you're welcome anytime," I responded as we walked towards the door. "Tell mommy, I'll come and visit one of these days. See how am talking, we are practically neighbors sef."

Folake shook her head and started laughing. "Abi o!"

I walked back into the dinning room ready to confront Adekunle, but I found it empty. "Adekunle?" I called out, making my way into the kitchen, it was also empty.

He knows I'm coming for him.

I opened our bedroom door, and there he was lying peacefully on the bed. I'm sure his pretending, but I'll just let it slide for today.

A yawn escaped my lips as I sat down on my vanity to put on my night cream. "Blood of Jesus! See this man," I said touching my checks, it still hurt and now it has a mark. I groaned in annoyance now I have to apply concealer on it tomorrow, because Agnes will definitely ask what happened. I made one last trip to the toilet then I laid on my bed and did my evening prayer, with that done, I shut my eyes and went to sleep.

Today was Saturday which meant I had to attend one of my queen duties, I was going to travel to the capital's main orphanage, the children were going to be the leaders of tomorrow.

I was currently in the car alongside Adekunle, who was texting only God knows who. I'm so fed up with him and his attitude, one minute he acts like he owns me, and the other minute he treats me like am shït. I know I'm not special, but treat me properly, we are stuck with each other forever!

You mean until he kills you. . .

I signed deeply, I was already tired of sitting in this car, we have been in here for two hours and I'm getting restless. Adekunle spoke up, making me snap out of my boring thoughts. "We have arrived, better behave and no shaking yansh for any man."

I burst into fits of laughter. "What are you even saying? Have you ever seen me doing that?" Adekunle's door was unlocked by the bodyguard. My husband then walked over to my side and opened the door for me, revealing a lot of people, the media started taking pictures as my pumps hit the floor.

"You think I don't notice when you're dancing that work song."

I turned to face him. "You're not normal I swear," I said chuckling lightly.

The cameras kept flashing as we walked into the building and I could feel Adekunle's grip tighten around my arm. I wanted to slap him, but I ignored the feeling and kept smiling for the camera.

Keep smiling like one dying goat, we know it's because Adekunle is next to you that's why you're smiling.

Those of ya'll that are complaining about my short chapters, let's make an agreement, is it better for me to unpublish princess Aria, then join two chapters together to make it one? (eg: I'll join chapter one and two together and it will be longer), or should I update more than one chapter a day/week? You can private message me or comment, I know you won't comment so if I don't get any reply I'll make my own decision lol.

So how was the chapter? Adekunle needs to be put on a leash, he has been misbehaving.

Please vote and comment!

Hugs and roses🙆🌹
