"Hey, Tae."
Taehyung hummed gently.
"Why do you just call me Jungkook?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean.. can't I have a nickname? You're my best friend so I want to have a nickname."
"What nickname would you like?" Taehyung took to running his long fingers through Jungkook's hair.
"Uhh.. what about.. kookie?"
"No. Jimin calls you that sometimes. I want to call you something that nobody else has."
"What about baby boy, then?"
Taehyung was awake now.
"Well you said something that nobody else calls me by, and all those other nicknames were-"
"I wasn't objecting. Just thinking.. baby boy."
Taehyung beamed brightly. Jungkook quickly returned the emotion.
"We'll have to think of a nickname for you too, Tae."
"I think we'll just stick with Tae for now."
