Season 2 Chapter 4: The Birthday Girl

~Yoomis POV~

Ahhhh fuck..

My head..

I cover my eyes from the light coming through the window.

What the hell happened last night?

I slowly remove my hand and look around to see that I am in an unfamiliar room.

I then feel something move beside me and I immediately turn my head to the left.

Oh my..

It's Vernon sleeping.

I try to think back to last night.

But nothing.

Please tell me I didn't..

Oh gosh.

I grab the top of the blanket and slowly lift it up.

Wait..

What?

I was fully clothed.

But I don't remember putting these clothes on.

And..

Are they his?

So many questions.

Vernon: Good morning.

I jump a little by his sudden voice.

Yoomi: Uhh. Morning.

Vernon: How ya feelin?

Yoomi: Not so great.

He laughs and sits up from the bed.

Vernon: Yeah I figured. Do you remember anything from last night?

I shake my head.

Vernon: Maybe that's for the best. But I'm sure you have lots of questions.

Yoomi: Yeah just a little.

Vernon: Well we can talk about it after breakfast. Follow me.

He stands from the bed and I do the same.

I follow him down the stairs and into the kitchen.

Vernon: Are pancakes okay?

Yoomi: YES!!!

He looks at me and laughs.

Yoomi: Sorry.. I just really like pancakes. My mom used to make them all the time when I was little.

Vernon: What are your parents like?

He starts to make the pancake batter.

Yoomi: Well my mom is pretty great. She is extremely beautiful and has a very kind heart. She can be sweet but a total savage at times. She is crazy but hilarious. She understands a lot and she's always there for me when I need her.

Vernon: Wow. She sounds pretty amazing. What about your dad?

Oh boy..

Yoomi: Ummm my dad? He's very handsome and he's like my best friend. He's very over protective and he can be very intimidating at times. A lot of the times when I introduce my friends to him they always get scared of him. But I understand why. My dad can be scary. But he is really sweet a lot of times. And if he found out that I was here we would both be dead.

Vernon: Oh.. Well he sounds.. lovely.

Yoomi: Yeah.. But what about your parents?

Vernon: Ehh. There's not much to tell. They only come home like twice a month because they always travel around for their work.
