Pride, LaSalle and I are on our way to Chicago. The intelligence unit had come across a dead petty officer in the mist of a drug bust. I am the youngest Rhodes Connor and I have a fantastic sibling relationship. I don't talk to Claire my older sister or my father. Connor and I both blamed him for our Mother's death. We were nearly at Chicago. Pride looked at me.
"You know anything about Sergeant Voight and his unit" Pride asked me
"Not much they only I know is he play's by his own rules. Should be interesting" I said
"Hopefully you might have time to spend with your brother" LaSalle said
I smiled at them. Soon enough our flight landed and we were on our way to the 21st district. We walked into the district. Pride started to talk to the desk sergeant.
"Hello there My name is NCIS Special Agent Dwayne Pride and here is Special Agent Christopher Lasalle and Sophia Rhodes. We are looking for Sergeant Voight" Pride said
She looked at use. I saw her badge say sergeant Platt. She buzzed us up. We walked up the stairs and saw the whole team. Sergeant Voight walked over to us.
" Agent Pride I assume. " Voight said
"That's me this is Special Agents Christopher LaSalle and Sophia Rhodes" Pride said
"Nice to meet you. This is Detective Alvin Olinsky, Detective Antonio Dawson, Detective Jay Halstead, Detective Hailey Upton, Officer Adam Ruzek, Officer Kim Burgess and Officer Kevin Atwater." Voight said
" You don't mind me asking are you related to Connor Rhodes " Ruzek asked
"I am his Baby sister " I said
"We read the files on the way here. If it's okay with you I would like one of my people to have a look at the last crime scene that involved Petty Officer Bishop" Pride said
"Of course Halstead, Burgess will go with" Voight said
" Sophia do you want to go" Pride said looking at me
" Sure you know me I love getting started straight away" I said
We went to the crime scene. I sighed
"You Okay" Jay asked looking at me
" He had a wife and child. He dedicated his life to serving for his country, Only to be killed by gang bangers" I said
"We will get them " Kim said
"I know" I said
After looking at the scene we headed back to the district.
"Hey Pride nothing at the crime scene to help us" I said
"Okay , we got the tox screen back on Petty officer Bishop. It turned out he coke in him." Pride said
" So he took coke for the first time and get killed great" I said
" That's not it it turns out he had needle marks which suggest he used before" Dawson said
"He could have used before enlisting it's not uncommon " I said
Pride looked at me.
"What" I said
"The ME said it was recent" Pride said
"That doesn't make any sense they have to drug test regularly" I said
"He had two test done and passed" LaSalle said
" So someone helped he fake the test" I said
" We don't know that but I just informed Directer Vance and he want's LaSalle and I head to the ship where Petty Officer Bishop worked on" Pride said
I looked at him confused
" What about me" I said
" If its okay with you I was going to have you stay here and liaison with the Intelligent unit. Sergent Voight already agreed to it " Pride said
"Sure thing " I said
I hugged both LaSalle and Pride.
"Don't worry okay you will do great" Pride said to me
I said bye to them. After a few more hours Sergent Voight called it a night.
"I will have someone give you a ride to your hotel " Voight said
"There's no need I can walk" I said not wanting to be a burden
" I will do it" Jay said coming from behind me.
I smiled at him
"That's settled get your stuff both of you" Voight said
We both said are goodbyes to the team . We were in Jays car.
" Any siblings Detective Halstead" I asked
"First it's Jay no need for the detective. I have one older brother Will he is a doctor in Med he works with your brother" Jay said
"Cool " I said
We arrived at the hotel . Jay walked me up to my room.
"You know you didn't have to walk me up you know" I said
" I wanted" He said while looking at me and I kept looking at him.
"Goodnight Jay" I said
"Night Agent" He said while smirking
"Its Sophia no need for the Agent " I said.
He smiled and I walked into my room and got ready for bed and feel asleep couldn't get Jay out of my head.
