After I got ready I walked to the kitchen and saw Connor cooking breakfast. He turned and saw me.
"Morning you look ready to take the day" Connor said
"Yes I have to meet Sergant Voight. What are you cooking" I said
"I am cooking bacon. sausages and toast." Connor said
"That is all my favourites " I said
"You need to build up your energy " Connor said lookingat me
"I am not complaining" I said sitting down
After we ate breakfast Connor decided to drop me off at the district.
"Thank you Connor " I said
"No problem sis. See you later " Connor said
I got out of his car and walked up the steps of the district. I walked inside and saw Sergant Platt at the front desk I walked up the desk.
"Hi sergant I am here to meet sergant Voight this morning " I said
"I will buzz you up" She said
"Thank you " I said and I walked up to the gate
I walked into intelligence and saw Antonio, Kevin and Kim. They all looked at me.
"It's so good to see you looking so well " Kim said to me while hugging me
"Thank you Kim I am just glad to be out the apartment and getting fresh air " I said
"What brings you here " Antonio said to me
"I have a meeting with Voight " I said
"He is in his office " Kevin said
"Thank you " I said
I walked up to his office and knocked on the door I heard him say come in. I walked in to his office and closed the door behind me
"Sit down " Voight said
I sat down at his desk
"I wanted to say thank you for the offer Sergant " I said
"Have you decided " Voight asked
"Yes I want to accept your offer to work here in this unit. I promise you Jay and I will keep things professional. I will not let you down. I will give a 110% to every case" I said really fast
"Breath for me I don't want you to pass out on me." Voight said
"Sorry I am really nerves. I more and likely will be like this for awhile really nerves and eager to please ." I said
Voight smiled at me.
"Pride told me you get like this . Don't worry you are going to be great " Voight said
" I have an appointment in Med tomorrow to see if I can return to work soon" I said
"Good here is my number give me a ring when you find out okay ." He said and handed me a piece of paper with his number on it.
"Thank you . I will" I said
"No problem why don't we tell the others" He said
"Sure" I said
We got up and walked out of his office. Everyone was here now.
"Listen up I want to tell you that Sophia here is going to be working with us from now on. I hope you welcome her properly okay" Voight Said
"Did you know about this " Adam asked to Jay
"I knew yesterday " Jay said smiling at me and coming up to hug me
"Welcome to the team we have celebrate." Antonio said
"How about tomorrow " Kim asked
"Sure" I said
I left the district and I headed back to Connor's and got changed and relaxed the rest of the day.
