I woke up to a knock on my hotel door. I got up out of my bed and opened the door to find Jay standing there with a smile on his face.
"What are you doing here " I asked
"Well I thought I would drive you to the district and I thought we could breakfast before" Jay said smiling
"Well you better come in " I said I let him in
"Thank you " " He said
"Just give me 20 minutes to get ready" I said grabbing my stuff and walking in the bathroom. After 15 minutes I walked out ready and saw Jay on the phone. He saw me.

"Your ready and 5 minutes to spare " He said
"Yes just need to grab my bag" I said while grabbing
We walked out of the hotel and got into his car he drove to a diner. We got out and headed in to the diner and sat down.We order our food and started to eat.
"So are you close with your family" Jay asked
I looked up at him.
"I am close with Connor. I don't talk to my father or my sister Claire. Connor and I have always had a close bond." I said
"What did you do before you joined NCIS " Jay asked
"I was actually an analyst for the NSA. After a case I ended up being a liaison between the NSA and NCIS. I finished my probation 2 months ago doesn't stop me being called a probie still but I wouldn't change it I love my team. What did you do before becoming a cop" I said
"I was in the rangers then I came back and enrolled into the police academy I have worked my way up being a detective." He said
After we finished our food we headed for the district. We arrived and headed up the stairs. We got to work after a couple more hours. We found out Petty Officer Bishop was in trouble with a gang member part of The Lost Disciples . It turn out he owed money. We went to arrest the guy. I got out of the car with Jay when all of a sudden I saw someone shoot at us. I pushed Jay out of the way I got shot in the stomach. Jay pulled me behind the car. The rest of the unit started to shoot. Antonio came beside us while the others were making arrest. The Ambulance approached Antonio went to meet it.
"Hey stay awake the ambulance is here." Jay said while putting pressure on my wound
"I am Trying" I said feeling really sleepy
"Gabby, Sylvie this is Sophia she took a bullet to the stomach. I have been putting pressure on the wound." Jay said while moving so they could get to work
"Good Job" Gabby said
The got me into the ambulance and we headed toward the hospital Jay was with me.
