A Vision of the Future

A/N: Hey guys! So now that Ultron is in here, I figured the twins should be here too! They'll be the same as how they appeared in Age of Ultron, but Ultron's appearance will be the comic one.

Yami: Also, the twins will be your enemies for a bit. Until they find out what Ultron wants to do, they'll be working for the bad guys. But, until they join you, you get to have fun fighting them as you hunt down Ultron.

A/N: Yup. Also, one more thing. The evil plan and personality of Ultron will be derivative of the movie variation. I know that's a lot of big words, so I'll translate. It'll be movie Ultron in Comic Ultron's form.

Yami: Do you just enjoy teasing them, or do you actually think they wouldn't understand that?

A/N: Who's to say it's not both? Anyways, it's been a while so I'll let you get to it. Enjoy!

Y/N's POV

It's been a few hours since Ultron attacked us, and team RWBY and I were still in my dorm, along with Neo, who was sitting on her bed. I was hunched over my workstation, trying to find Ultron. Yang was still pissed about everything. Blake was talking to Yang, calming her down. Weiss was helping me hunt down Ultron. Since she still had access to Atlas scanning tech, she could help make my job a lot easier. As for Ruby, she was trying to get me to take a break.

Ruby: Please Y/N, you've been working non-stop for hours now! You need to sleep!

Y/N: I can't. I need to find Ultron-

Ruby cut me off by pulling me into a hug.

Ruby: Please... take a break...

Y/N: Ruby...

I looked up at Ruby, seeing her sad look. She looked like she was about to cry.

Y/N: Ok... I'll take a break.

Ruby smiled before hugging me tighter. I smiled and hugged back before getting up and walking over to my bed. I laid down, only for Ruby to stay standing over me. 

Ruby: Well?

Y/N: What?

Ruby: Are you gonna make room or what?

I blushed a bit as Ruby stood there, her arms behind her back as she blushed lightly, looking slightly down and to the right.

Y/N: Uh, s-sure.

I moved over, making room for Ruby as she laid down next to me. We laid there facing each other for a minute before Ruby pulled herself into my chest. I blushed more at that before closing my eyes and drifting off.

Ruby's POV

As I woke up the morning after the Ultron incident, I noticed something was missing from the room. Rather than being next to Y/N, I woke up in the bed alone. Neo was asleep on her bed, but Y/N wasn't anywhere to be found. I got up slowly, still tired from waking up, and looked around the room. I noticed that the wristband with Y/N's hologram suit thing wasn't on the desk where he left it last night. I got on my scroll and called him. After a few rings, he picked up.

Ruby: Y/N! Where are you!?

Y/N: Oh... Hey Rubes! I'm- whoa! I'm just doing a thing- ACK!

Ruby: Y/N!?

Y/N: Sorry, can't talk! Gotta go!

Ruby: Y/N, wait! Where-

But it was too late. He hung up. Extremely worried, I quickly got into my suit and took off. I used the tracker in the suit to find Y/N. He'd made a two-way tracker so we could find each other if we got separated. As I followed the tracker, I ended up in the woods, flying over the trees. I finally got to where his suit was, only to find Y/N being kicked around by something I couldn't see. 

3rd Person POV

As Y/N was beaten around by the unknown force, Ruby flew down. Before she landed, Y/N did a scan of the area, finding the source of the hits and predicting where it was going to be. He then shot a repulsor beam at the area he predicted and the hits stopped coming. He went over to the source of the hits, finding a guy who didn't look much older than him. He had light blonde hair and wore a basic track jacket and pants. He looked up from the ground seeing Y/N pointing a rocket at him as he stepped on his leg.

Y/N: Stay down. Final warning.

Suddenly, Ruby landed next to him. Y/N looked over to Ruby, only to see a girl behind her. He threw Ruby aside and quickly felt something hit him as if something had phased through his head.

Y/N's POV

I went from the forest to a dark room. I didn't know where I was, but I could see a faint light ahead of me. I walked towards it, slowly making out a picture. It was Beacon. I looked around me as everything was quiet. There wasn't anyone in sight. As I turned around to see Beacon again, it was no longer normal. It was now on fire. I could see parts of the school burning, people screaming, and Grimm hunting the students. The dead bodies of other students lied around me.

Y/N: Dear Oum... Ruby!

I quickly tried to form my armor, only for nothing to happen. I noticed my wristband was gone and I couldn't call my other suits. I ran through the burning remains of Beacon, looking for Ruby. I eventually came across the cafeteria. I looked around and eventually found something. yang was laying limp on the ground, her arm gone with Blake laying next to her, a hole in her stomach. I ran over to them and checked for a pulse... Nothing.

Y/N: How... How did this happen?

I was brought out of my thoughts by a grunting noise. I looked to my left and saw Weiss with pieces of debris in her. Next to her, laid Ruby. Limp and bleeding out.

Y/N: Ruby!

I ran to her side, checking for a pulse. Nothing. Then, she suddenly sprung up slightly and grabbed my arm.

Ruby: You... could've... saved... us...

She then went limp again. I tried to pull her into my arms, only to suddenly find myself in the forest again. I looked around, not seeing anything. I then looked behind me and saw a familiar suit of armor.

Y/N: Ruby...?

A/N: Hey! Thanks for reading! Sorry if the end of that was a tad anti-climactic. This chapter is just to introduce the twins really.

Yami: Also, we used the vision of the Fall of Beacon as a way to foreshadow things soon to come.

A/N: Right! Like how the story's almost over! But there will be stuff before that. I'm gonna skip over some stuff, like Ultron getting the vibranium and such. But I don't wanna say anymore in case I spoil the whole thing, so... yeah. Signing off!
