Ava's POV

I was awoken by Lizzie's obnoxious snores. I swear I was sleeping with a wild elephant in here. I rolled over to check the time and saw that it was 8:12 a.m. Ugh, there's nothing more I hate than waking up early on a weekend. I mean i'm supposed to use these days to regain sleep from hell- I mean school. But no, Lizzie just had to snore incredibly loud.

I left the bed carefully, trying not to wake Lizzie, and made my way downstairs. I was famished, so Julian better have some food. I opened the fridge and saw we had the entire thing stuffed! Did he really think we'd this much food? I might as well make use of the groceries and cook some breakfast for everyone. Many people didn't know that I actually enjoyed cooking, it gave me a sense of peace.

I grabbed all the ingredients for pancakes and bacon. I spotted a speaker in the kitchen so I connected my phone and began cooking to the beat of Focus by Ariana Grande. I began whisking the mix and moving my hips the song. I had everything prepared, and danced my way towards the stove to put the batter in.

I turned around to grab strips of bacon and saw Chase dancing to the music as well. I began laughing, "Nice moves Myers." He gave me a sly smile and moved more dramatically.

"I couldn't let a pretty girl dance by herself."

I rolled my eyes in a playful manner, "I love the gesture, what are you doing up anyway?" I put more food on the stove, flipping the pancakes perfectly.

"Smelled food." He said popping a piece of bacon into his mouth.

I swatted his hand away, "If you aren't helping you can't eat."

He smirked and said, "Good thing I already washed my hands." He then grabbed the pan of bacon and flipped them to get a crisp look. Chase looked so handsome right now flipping the food. He had a concentrated look on his face, which made me want to pinch his cheeks. "Like what you see?" he said breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? Oh! Er- yes..?" I awkwardly said. Way to go Ava...

"Good, because I like what i'm seeing too." He said giving me a once-over. I squirmed under his gaze wanting to shrink into the ground. But hey, he said he liked me right now and I was wearing Loony Tunes pajama pants, and an old t-shirt. He's a keeper.

"The bacon!" I said turning to look at the burnt pieces of bacon laying on the stove.

"Shit." He cursed. Chase turned off the stove and threw away the bacon. How tragic.

I bumped him out of the way with my hips, "How bout you go over there and put ice cream scoops on the pancakes."

"I love when you order me around like that, it really turns m-" I covered his mouth and felt my cheeks heat up.

"Don't finish that sentence." I shyly said.

He winked at me then saluted me making his way towards the freezer. That boy would really be the death of me.

----

We were all sitting down finishing the remains from our breakfast when I noticed we were missing one person. "Hey, where's Corinna?" I asked.

"Why do you care? She's crazy let her be." Lizzie bluntly said.

Kiki rolled her eyes and said, "She doesn't wanna come down because she has no brows."

I actually felt bad now. She was insecure and locked up in her room because of something I encouraged. It's not like she didn't deserve it, but I still felt bad. I stood up from my seat and walked out of the kitchen.

"Where are you going!?" Julian hollered.

"I'll be one second!" I said scurrying up the stairs to my room. I grabbed my makeup bag and lightly knocked on Kiki's room. No one answered me, and I knew Corinna was bluffing. She wasn't asleep, she just didn't wanna face anyone. "Corinna open up- I know you're in there."

"Go away." I heard from the other side of the door. "I'm ugly now!"

"You are not! Open up so I can help you." I said impatiently.

"No way! You're gonna make fun of me. Piss off." Corinna screeched. Jesus, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

An idea popped into my head and I raced downstairs into the dining room. "Any one have a bobby pin?!"

They looked at me confused and shook their heads. That was until Julian spoke up, "I do."

Mia began giggling, "Why do you have a bobby pin?"

"How do you think I get this perfect quiff every morning?" Julian said taking off his bobby pin revealing a perfect quiff. He really had perfect hair.. hm.

"Thanks!" Then I ran upstairs. I began picking the bedroom lock, and heard a click. I pushed open the door and saw Corinna under her blankets. "Rise and shine sweet pea, i'm here to bestow great power for you!"

"What is it."Corinna grumbled.

"Eyebrows!!" I said in a sing song voice. Her head perked up and I saw Corinna with no hair on her forehead at all! I tried so hard not to laugh hysterically at her state. Fortunately,I refrained from doing so because she would've shut me out again. I pulled out my eyebrow kit. "May I?" I asked nicely.

"Whatever." She said sitting up straight. I took the eyebrow pencil and stenciled out a perfect eyebrow shape. I then grabbed my pomade and proceeded to fill it in creating natural fake hairs on her eyebrow bone. I concealed it, and put a gel over them so they wouldn't be coming off any time soon. I handed her a mirror and she watched in astonishment touching her new eyebrows.

"What do you think?" I said perky. She gave me a genuine smile for once and hugged me. Yes, she hugged me! I was assuming she really liked them. I mean why else would she hug me? It was the first time I had seen her be so kind since I had met her.

"I love them!" She said excited. "Why are you doing this?" She said in a serious tone.

"Because they'd make fun of you, and Lizzie is ruthless. She'd go ham on you." It was true, my friends wouldn't let her live it down. It'd ruin her weekend and no one deserved that. Not even mean girls.

Corinna smiled at me, "I'm really sorry for being a bitch."

"It's okay, i'm over it." I continued, "You should get dressed before the boys scarf up your food."

I then exited the room and bumped into Chase. He was smiling at me with twinkling grey eyes. I don't think I ever took the time to appreciate his eyes. They were orbs that kept trapping me in them. "That was nice of you."He said grabbing my waist.

I tried to ignore the placement of his hands and said, "Everyone deserves a second chance."

He raised his eyebrows, "Everyone?"

I nudged him playfully and said, "Yes. Everyone." I then muttered, "Even cute boys who make me smile all the time."

"Cute boys huh? And what a coincidence that  I'm managing to make you smile right now!" Chase acknowledged.

"Just shut up and kiss me already." I said impatiently.

Chase caught my lips with his, and we were soon following in sync. This time I was the one who deepened the kiss. Chase seemed to be taken aback from me being so bold because he smiled against my lips. He then pulled away in a fast motion

"Wait are we dating again?" Chase asked looking into my eyes. He was looking for a type of reassurance from the way he was searching in my eyes.

I pressed my lips against his, "Does that answer your question?"

He nodded quickly and pulled me into the room he was staying in. He pulled away and whispered, "I love you."

Wait, hold up. What?
