Chapter 33: Big and Round

Ava's POV

"My entire weekend is ruined!" Lizzie said falling onto the couch dramatically. It was currently raining, and we all had plans to go hike the trail that surrounded Julian's property. Lizzie was whining, Mia was in a bad mood, meanwhile Abigail was trying to calm her down. Julian was trying to figure something out, Chase was trying to escape Corinna's flirt. I, on the other hand, was trying not to freak out. Ever since I was a little girl, I was always terrified of storms. Even if it was a light rain, i'd hide under the bed. I didn't want to worry the others and embarrass myself so I hugged my knees.

"We'll do a movie night!" Julian exclaimed running to the kitchen.

Mia grunted, "If a tree falls on us, i'll kill someone." Tree? So there's a huge possibility of us dying. Great, just perfect. 

"We're fine Mia.." Abigail said stroking Mia's hair.

"Popcorn is ready!" Julian said entering with 2 big bowls of popcorn and a bunch of junk food. On any normal day I would've reached towards the huge bowl of popcorn, but I couldn't circle my head around the constant thunder and flashes of lightning. 

"Want some?" Chase said handing me the popcorn. I shook my head and gave him a small smile. Julian decided on putting on the first Avenger movie. These were my favorite movies, but like I mentioned before, I could not focus at all. Lizzie decided to sit next to Julian then it was Corinna, Chase, me, Mia, and lastly Abigail. Chase put his arm around me, and I snuggled closer to him. We hadn't exactly told everyone that we were back together, but they had their assumptions. 

Suddenly, a loud thunder  roared shaking the cabin. "..can we turn it up please..?" I said with a shaky voice.

"Sure thing sweet pea." Julian declared. I finally relaxed, and began watching the movie. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Corinna sneak closer to Chase. Of course he had no clue because he was a guy. We got to the part where Hulk begins transforming, and Corinna clung to Chase.

"This is so scary!" She whimpered. If this girl doesn't get her hand off my man, there will be some serious problems. I turned to face her about to tell her off, but then Chase gave me a sly smirk. This dirt bag was playing another one of his games!  He was using Corinna to get me jealous. He was clever, but I wouldn't let him win this one. I then came up with the perfect idea to get Chase to lose. 

I got up and walked over to Lizzie and whispered, "Hey do you mind if I sit in between you and Julian? I'm trying to make Chase jealous, long story- don't ask."

She had a mischief smile on her face, "Duh." She then scooted over for me to sit next to Julian. He looked at me with a confused look on his face. 

I whispered in his ear, "Trying to make Chase jealous." He too smiled mischievously and put his arm around me. I snuggled closer to him, and saw Chase lean forward to see me. His eyes darkened and he mouthed, 'get off of him.' I pretended not to see his lips and focused on the movie in front of me. Julian pretended to say something funny, and I laughed obnoxiously. This caught the attention of everyone on the couch, but they all knew what I was trying to achieve. 

I decided to take it up another notch and say, "Julian I just love your hair!" I then proceeded to twirl my fingers in his hair. I saw Lizzie try to hold her laugh in. I then turned around and saw Chase fuming. However, he still didn't say anything.

"Corinna, has any one ever told you how pretty your eyes are?" Chase chimed in. Did he just call her eyes pretty?! How dare he!

"Wanna know what's bigger?" Corinna said sitting up straighter. Is this going where I think it's going? 

"What is?" Chase said speaking up louder. He had the attention of everyone, because we were all staring at them. Obviously, Chase knew which is why he kept going.

"My big round ti-" 

"Okay! It's not raining anymore! Er- how about we do something else!?" I said nervously. I was definitely not gonna let her finish that sentence,because I would've punched her.

Chase began laughing, "Point one for Chase, Zero for Ava." 

"You little-"

Chase put his hand on my lips, and silenced me. "I don't think you should finish that sentence."

"You right..." I said quietly. 

"Just get married already!" Kiki said laughing. My cheeks flamed in embarrassment, Chase played it cool like he always did and pecked me on the cheek.

"Well we are dating now, sooo." Chase added.

"WHAT?!" Kiki yelled.

"SINCE WHEN?!" Corinna screamed.

"I already knew that." Lizzie said smugly. 

"Since yesterday, he's quite the charmer." I said messing up Chase's hair.

"Plus i'm the whole package." Chase inquired.

"Oh yeah, what's that?" Mia accused.

"I'm hot, i'm hilarious, and i've got a huge package if you know what I mean." Chase said winking.

"Ew ew ew ew ew ew." Abigail said scrunching up her nose. She really hated talking about this.

Corinna purred, "I bet he does." Thot be gone. Please?

"Since everything's coming out, how about we play a game?" Lizzie said grinning. "I call this game Spin the Truth. It's a mix of spin the bottle and truth or dare, minus the dare part."

I thought about it, and well  I don't have anything to hide so I agreed along side everyone else. I mean what's the worst that could possibly happen? Who am I kidding, this is gonna be a huge disaster.

But hey, at least it took my mind off the storm.
