It has now been 2 days since Thomas spoke to Dylan the last. It was also the last time he eventually was alone with him. A lot more of people started showing up and visit the American. Seeing person after person enter the door kind of made Thomas happy but also not.

In one hand Thomas felt good about it because it showed that people cared about Dylan and that everyone wanted him to get better soon.
Yet, it also made Thomas angry because he knew that an overcrowded room wouldn't be good for Dylan. He wanted his friend to have the space he needed and feel comfortable.

And hour ago the room was full of people, guys from Teen Wolf, Dylan's old school friends and the maze runner cast. Now, it was only Thomas, Tyler and Julia. The other left to get something to eat. Thomas was sitting on his usual chair that could basically have his name by now since he literally sat there almost the whole time. Tyler was walking around in the room, looking down at his phone while Julia sat against a wall reading a book. Thomas didn't bother on taking any distraction. He had Dylan. That was the only distraction he needed. He sometimes spent hours starring at him, trying to find anything that would have possibly moved. It didn't bother Thomas. He was patient with his friend, he could never not be.

"Stop Walking around! It's annoying." Julia spoke up to Tyler, closing her book slightly, still holding her finger in between the pages she was at.

"I'm sorry..." Tyler said before sitting down and looking at his phone again.

Julia buried her nose in the book again while Thomas kept looking at his friend. It wasn't a bad type of examination. Sure sometimes he'd stare a bit too much but it was a good staring.  It wasn't like these freakish ones but yes the ones filled with affection and caring.

"Do you guys think he'll wake up soon?" Thomas broke the silence, speaking slowly almost not hearable.

"Positive. The doctors said he is much better." Julia said, not taking out the nose of her book.

"And also my best mate would never not fight. He can go trough this easily." Tyler said, giving a reassurance in Thomas chest.

Thomas tried his best to wait for the time to pass until his friend would be able to speak or at lest see again.

The whole 30 minutes they sat there felt for Thomas as 2 days. He was becoming inpatient with Dylan, truly just wanted to shake him heavily and hit him until the American would open his eyes.

"I'll go make a round. Wanna join me Thomas?" Julia stood up, letting her book on the ground when Thomas looked up and left Dylan's body to replace it with his sister.

"I-I don't really feel like it." Thomas said silently. Julia let out of a deep breath, shaking her head slowly no and walking towards the Brit. "Come on, nothing will happen to Dylan if you leave. I promise."

She reached out her hand so that Thomas could grab it easily, which he did after looking one last time back to Dylan.

The blonde stood up, nodding and walking towards the door of the room Dylan was placed in. Julia followed him, saying her last goodbyes to Tyler before leaving with Thomas.

The two of them started walking next to each other. Thomas looked at the floor, trying to ignore the bad feeling he had in his chest and the sound of the monitor that was giving away Dylan's death.

"It's okay Thomas. He will not shut down for these 10 minutes that you will be away." the girl took a small break, "You have been in that room since Dylan checked in, please you need some decent break. Even if it's just come out a bit and walk around with me."
