i smiled, sitting in my nest. the rain poured on me, my fur heavy from the water. but that was the only thing that was heavy. mapleflash was gone, and i had managed to turn the tables to me. now, i was petalstar's trusted deputy, making cypressscar surely jealous.
this split among the clan was all that i needed. positively, i would become leader! however, my reputation had been ruined by mapleflash.. i shook my fur, purring to myself. i'd get revenge later. after i had lied to petalstar, proving my loyalty, he had made me his deputy.
we worked excellently. maybe one day, i could forget my mistake and lead a beautiful clan.
getting up and leaving my nest, i barked to cats left and right. we had gathered more warriors, about half the size of our old clan. "Cypressscar, Windpaw, Newtpaw, Oakfur, hunt and patrol the border!"
