Zelda screamed against him, to no avail. She fought with all she had, and yet she couldn't get away. She finally just gave up. But he wouldn't let her go that easily. Sensing she had given up the fight, he shoved her away. She landed on her back, hard. He had turned away before she could see his face,

"Really now, that's all you've got? If I had really been trying to kill you, you wouldn't have stood a chance. They really don't prepare the princesses these days, do they?" He snickered, hands behind his back,

"So...you're not going to kill me?" She croaked,

"Oh, I am. Just, not right now," She had never been close to a stalfos, but she could tell he was one. His armor was black, and looked as though plants grew on it,

"Who are you?" She asked, sitting up,

"Do you always ask this many questions? I will, however, answer this last one. I, you could say, am a relative of your precious Link,"

"You are not Dark Link," she said. He turned, not that it helped. She couldn't recognize him, with him being a skeleton,

"Not the one you know," he confirmed, "You know, princess, you remind me of someone I once knew. Though, she was much less annoying, I must say,"

"Brother, get on with it," Dark Link emerged from the shadows, arms crossed,

"Fine. Take all the fun out of it, do you?" He barked back before finally removing his helmet.

She looked at him, confused. Dark Link sighed,

"Show her your real face. We don't have all day," he groaned,

"The younger generations sure are impatient," The stalfos muttered.

Before her eyes, he transformed. She just gawked, not ever seeing anything so fasinating and disgusting at the same time.

When the stalfos had finally become Hylian once again, her eyes grew wide. Link? Wait, no, this man's hair was a brighter grey compared to Dark Link, which probably meant his light self had bright blonde hair, and it was parted in the middle. It just barely covered the patch and scar covering his eye. Still, she couldn't deny the resemblance,

"I," He said, and she noticed even his voice was similar, "am the shadow of your Link's ancestor," Both of the Links in front of her smirked,

"If you're here, than that must mean Link's ancestor must still be around too," she said, more to herself than to them,

"Even so, you are greatly outnumbered. Dayfos is building an army, princess. You don't have a chance," Stalfos Link snickered

"Why are you telling me this? You know I'll just tell Link," she said, standing up,

"Oh, no you won't. Actually, you won't be saying anything for a while," Dark Link said, walking back into the shadows.

Suddenly, she felt herself being lifted up, as if she was finally allowed to leave. As she rose up, Stalfos Link waved at her, before putting his helmet back on,

"We'll see you soon," he laughed wickedly.

Zelda felt herself come back, after what felt like a long time. She felt herself being shaken,

"Zelda? Zelda?!" She heard a familiar voice say, panacked. Bright light shone down on her, and, by the stiffness she felt, she could tell she had been in a coma-like state for hours. It took a few more seconds before she could open her eyes.

She screamed and shoved him away from her. She couldn't help it, since he looked so much like the men who just tormented her.

He stumbled back and almost fell, shocked from the sudden outburst. He looked up at her with wide eyes. Her panacked and scared expression probably explained everything.

In two seconds, he had her in his arms,

"It's ok. Everything's fine," he soothed. She numbly nodded. He pulled back to look at her, "What happened?"

She opened her mouth to answer, but nothing came out. Her hand flew to her throat. He continued to look at her with a confused look. She slowly shook her head,

"I...I don't understand," he said. She sighed and looked down,

May I be of assistance, princess? Midna whispered sarcasticly in her head. Zelda smiled before telling her all of what had just happened,

Wow, your world is pretty messed up, isn't it? Midna asked,

I'm not sure Dayfos is from our world, Zelda replied.

She felt her presence leave and could see it in Link's face when she went to him. He was silent for a moment while she recited it back to him, before he looked back at her,

"We have to find him," he murmured. She nodded before looking down. Not being able to speak to him was bound to make things more difficult. She sat up and put her head in her hands,

"Hey now," Link said, walking up and crouching beside her, "It's going to be fine. This isn't going to be the end of the world. I mean, sure, it's not the best thing ever, but we'll get through it," he took one hand from her face and held it with both of his, "I love you too much to let this get in the way. Ok?" She gave a small nod, looking up at him. He kissed her, small and sweet, before standing up, "Well, we should get started. There's no time to waste, and he's elusive,"

She stood up. Her head was still spinning by the amount of Links there were. She shook her thoughts away as she got ready to find the last Link, or who she hoped was the last. After everything that'd happened, she couldn't say it would surprise her.
