The scenery around locus and Felix was grim storms coming closer to their location as they wonder around the abandon temple as Felix kicks some rocks out of his way "soo partner care to add some more details to this little scavenger hunt our homeroom teacher sent us on for some gold stars- aw fuck what I was kidding" Felix clutched his helmet as locus chucked a rock at his head "focus!, and for what where here for was what control showed us on the during briefing. "Felix said as he looked around the area through the lens of his DMR scope " beside who can't remember the day we met you were the best marksmen and I was the best of our assassin soldiers we were the Cloak 'n Dagger of our time. Oh how I still remember that rainy September" Felix noted about their past as Locus sees something though his scope "contact" he spoke calmly "where and how many" Felix said as he raised his DMR "North West two in vehicles mongoose class , four heavy men carrying chain torrents , one sniper on top of the structure, and ten grunt soldiers carrying assault rifles and BR-55's." Locus stated marking the targets "well from the looks of it they're not the only one who found out looks like their a scout team I guess Kimball is getting bolder or desperate either way lets kill them quick and get what we need" Felix said as he loaded his gun with a fresh magazine "while I would like to say that it would bring more of them sadly their isn't enough time to retreat and come back later so I'm giving the green light but we do this quietly no noise got it" Locus said as he cloaked himself and went into a high vantage point "clear no witnesses" Felix said as he holstered his rifle and unsheathed his knife a Huntsmen brand with the colors of black and a single orange line going from tip to base, and moved around the right side to remain in the chorus army's blind side "alright time to play doctor" Felix mused to himself as he got behind two soldiers and quickly threw his knife sticking it in a soldiers head and snapping the neck of the other soldier before moving their bodies out of sight grabbing his knife he noticed the sniper start to look his way he quickly angled his knife to locus letting him know quietly to take out the sniper as locus put on his suppressor thanks to control and took out the sniper without making any sounds to alarm the other soldiers as they were patrolling the area "thirty points for locus while Felix takes the lead with forty-five" Felix said over coms as he moved around the back of the base "Focus this is no time to get over confident in yourself" Locus said as he took out a lone soldier that was away from the group "yeah but what's the fun if you don't- oh hello there you look fun, locus get ready I got a distraction ready for ya" Felix said as he picked up a power line connected to the army's power supply for their mission and cut it notifying the electricians as they rushed to the Felix's location just as they got their locus picked off the two soldiers that were away from the rest on the mongoose as Felix grabbed one of the engineers then throwing his knife at the second one imbedding it into his head as he activated his sword and swiped it at the third one decapitating his head and stabbing it into the back of the engineer he was holding him by the throat from behind killing quietly and letting go of his body as simultaneously each body dropped with only a small thud from hitting the grassy dirt ground as locus watched making him now remembering the true potential of Felix skills back during the war. ruthless quiet and precision penetration and skill when it came to the use of blades "alright nine left the last five soldiers are sticking together and the other four heavy men are in teams of two" Locus said over coms "got it we need to take out the heavy's now or else they'll be a bitch to deal with later" Felix said as he hid in a cave entrance as he watched where they all where "agreed the next patrol of the gunmen is in one minute lets have our window open in thirty" Locus said as his rifle followed the two heavy equipped soldiers "on your mark ill get the one on the right while you get the one on your left" Felix said as he readied his magnum suppressed and knife "mark" Locus said as he shot the first heavy killing him as the other one was about to react back as he heard something above him looking up he saw Felix falling from the cave entrance up a level shooting head having the bullets pierce the helmet as Felix landed on his solders and slitting his throat and jumping up off the body to his feet. "clear you get the next five while I get the last to big guys though were running out of tome so were gonna have to go loud and proud " Felix said as he holstered his pistol and took out his sticky detonator "take them out om my signal" Felix said as he was approaching behind the last two heavy men of the group "what's the-" locus said before hearing a explosion seeing armor and body pieces fly and painting the area red as locus sighed and quickly shot his sniper killing four out of the five just as the last one was about to get away a gunshot rung out as the soldier collapsed to the ground with a hole through his visor as Felix walked out behind cover "clear, and you missed one dumbass" he said as he held his rifle down "get down here and lets see what we find on this treasure hunt of ours" Felix laughed over coms as locus simply grunted as he hopped down from the cliffside safely "for once I have to say Felix good work" Locus said impressed as he witnessed his partner do something that didn't involve any back-sass for some reason it was both satisfying and disappointing only to receive a laugh from Felix "hahahahah! did the great cold stone heartless sniper just complement me" Felix laughed as he swiped his finger on the brim of his visor imitating wiping a tear from his eye "man Weiss you never change much do you pretending to complement me for something " Felix said as he walked off into the alien structure then like a bullet it hit Locus straight in the head on what his partner just called him "wait Felix" locus said as he did not move a single muscle causing Felix to stop In his tracks and turn around to face his partner "what cant you see this pirate is about to claim his booty" Felix joked though a little annoyed on why his partner stopped him "Weiss" Locus said as Felix's eyes grew wide as he heard that name "what did you just say?" Felix said growing uneasy "Weiss... just now you called me Weiss, my names Sam not Weiss and also one more thing" locus said as he moved closer to Felix "codenames" He said as he walked by Felix as he was on the outside calm and not caring but was internalin loosing his shit on how he let that name slip form his mouth. " alright egg heads my house is nice and clean you can come over but don't make a mess" Felix said as followed Locus into the temple looking structure as a group of Charon technicians follow close behind as a second assault support squad was keeping the perimeter clear. "lets look for our artifact and get out of here clean" a soldier said as the tech team rush to set up their equipment
