To clarify something throughout the novel... Alfor secretly built another Voltron and had kept it from everyone. Instead of five lions, it was six wolves. He had wanted to use them, but the war began before he could use it. He shot the ship that held the wolves away into the far reaches of the universe. There might be some more surprises though that can change alot of things...
