dear diary,
i never got to tell you i love you on your birthday.
our date was amazing and we learned a lot about each others backgrounds that we didn't know although we were dating.
i learned that you were born in busan but moved to seoul because your dad got a job here, a good one at that.
you told me that your mom left when you were nine so you couldn't remember much of her.
and then i told you i was also from busan.
and my parents... they both passed away.
they both had cancer.
my dad had leukemia and my mother had breast cancer.
they tried so hard to live for me but they couldn't and there was nothing anyone could do about it.
i miss them a lot but i know that when they died they were happy.
they had each other and they had me.
that's all they could ever ask for.
okay i'll stop here before i ruin this thing with my tears.
