The Howling {Sequel to Ripped Away}

Chapter 2

Eternas POV
   Everything seems okay, but Im still skeptical. I mean, everything cant just go back to jormal, right? Most of the houses are empty, and the orphanage is full. Walking through the empty town gives off an eery feel, and i dont like it at all.
   Sometimes, when no ones around, I just stand in the town cenyer and close my eyes, pretending to feel busy bodues shoving around me, hear the children playing and wandering around, looking at everything, tasting the cooking meats throuhh the air, seeing everyone again.
   Heh, theres Dr. Lofy, and Azure... there goes Rufous, carrying a fresh load of swords to sell, and theres Encre, sitting in a window, painying the qhole scene in different shades.....
   The only shade i see now is grey, as i open my eyes. The grey streets matching the grey buildings matching my grey feeling. I let out a sigh before continuing on through tje city.
"Eterna!!" I hear a childish voice cry and boots running toqards me.
   I let out a sigh and turn to Azure, slightly annoyed at him.
"Yeah?" I asked, a slight sharpness edging my voice.
   He flinches and shrinks back, but not for long.
"Eterna, i have the best news!!! Its about Encr-"
"I dont care!!" I snapped, not wanting to think right now.
   He flinches qgain.
"Sorry..." he whispers.
   I let out a sigh.
"Sorry, just not in the best mood." I squd.
"What was so important about Encre? Shes dead, right?"
"No, thats what I'm trying to say!! Shes alive!!!" Azure exclaimed.
   I let out a shocked gasp. Lofy had said she should be dead!!! That adorable little dragon!!! I hug Azure.
"Thats great news!!"
   Azure happily nods, gladly hugging back. I let go pretty quick, not really being a hugger. Hes still smiling happily and I pat his head. He purrs qnd I snicker.
"Don't ya gotta go make out with Rufous or something?" I ask teasingly.
   Azure blushes a bright blue.
"E-ETERNA!!!" He screams before running off.
   I laugh as he does. Maybe things can go vack to normal..

Azures POV
   I hate when Eterna teases me like that!! Its so embarrassing!!! At least this time Sir Rufous isnt around... I ran away after the teasing, and found myself running to Sir Rufous's shop. I was still blushing madly, but didnt change my direction. I wanna see him anyways, I haven't visited him in nearly an hour!! I picked up speed, and accidently ran straight into him.
   Sir Rufous let out a yelp, and i squeaked. He had accidently put his arms around me. I blush more as he lets go, a blush on his face.
"S-sorry!!" I squeak out.
   He nods and murmurs that its fine, hiding his blushing face in his hands.
"I.. uhmm...." I tried to talk, but was too embarrassed.
   Sir Rufous llooke at ne and his eyes soften as he hugs me close.
"Its fine.." he tells me, holding me closer.
   I blush madly as I shyly snuggle to him. I can feel him shift, he obviously isnt used to this. I giggle softly and cling to him.
"Hey, Azure...?" He says softly.
"Yes..?" I ask.
"Can I tell you something....?"
   I nod shyly.
"I... I think I love you......" he whispers.
   I blush insanely. That had come outta nowhere!!
"I..... I.......... I love you too!!!" I burst out suddenly.
   He squeaked but blushed madly. I snuggle close to him, and he smiles. He nuzzles me gently and I giggle softly. I'm so glaf he feels the same way about me.. its great!! And I love him so, so, so much!! I have an internal fangirl moment and giggle softly. He pets and nuzzles me. The only thing I geel pure happiness!!!
