I got home and parked my bike in the back, walking inside. I could see Angel on the couch, I grabbed a beer from the fridge,

''hey,'' he smiled sort of.

''happy birthday,'' I told him, he looked confused. I then handed him a few comic I knew he would like,

''my birthday was three months ago,''

''I know I'm sorry I wasn't out,''

''it's okay,'' he smiled as he looked through the comics, I picked up the phone about to call Christie but Angel spoke up.

''Mum forgot to pay the bill,'' I sighed and placed the phone down,

''who'd you want to call?'' he asked,

''Christie,''

''The principals daughter, man you ought a think about your image,'' he told me,

''I don't have have anything to worry about,'' I spoke honestly. He then grabbed a basketball,

''wanna shot some hoops?'' he asked me.

''if you're sure it won't mess up your image,'' I smirked, he then threw the ball at me and ran outside. I followed behind him, I'm glad I was given a brother.
