Info about A/B/O

If you are new to A/B/O then feel free to read this, if not then you don't have to unless you want too. This Is just facts and info about A/B/O dynamics!

-Alphas are the dominant or "masculine" ones in omegaverse

-they are generally large and at least slightly intimidating in appearance

-they possess what is commonly referred to as an "alpha voice" which is basically a very commanding tone that omegas, and sometimes betas, feel compelled to obey

-alphas also have a "croon" which is like a deep rumbling sound (basically a purr) that helps to calm or comfort their omegas or their pups

-"Ruts" are a biological thing that alphas go through and during a rut they will be easily agitated and extremely horny because their body wants them to knot and breed

-A "knot" is kinda like a bulb type thing in an alphas penis that swells when they are aroused and keeps them locked inside their omega during sex to increase the chances of getting the omega pregnant, this is called knotting

-All alphas are able to impregnate people, but only female alphas can get pregnant because male alphas don't have a womb

-Female alphas are often described as having both a penis and a vagina or having a clitoris that extends into one when they are aroused so they can impregnate people

(I added some of the female stuff in here, but I don't do female on female stories. It's not because I don't wanna, it's because I literally can't.  I suck at writing female on female stuff. So I just write male on male. But if you wanna suggest any female on female feel free to do so, but I don't think it will be good.)

Omegas:

-Omegas are the submissive or "feminine" ones of the dynamics

-They are generally small, maybe delicate, and feminine in appearance

-omegas can use their hormones to affect others, whether it be by calming there child or arousing their alpha

-"Heats" are a biological thing that omegas go through and during a heat an omega with self lubricate (usually referred to as "slick") in order to prepare to take an alphas knot

-omegas are most fertile during heats and they crave an alphas knot because their body is demanding for them to breed

-"bonding" is achieved by biting into a scent gland hard enough to draw blood and eventually scar, it ties to people together mentally, physically, and emotionally. Like, a really extreme marriage.

-during heats, or pregnancies, or any other stressful times, an omega will nest

-"Nesting" is a process in which an omega craves warmth and comfort so they will chose a small space, like a closet, and gather blankets, pillows, clothing. Anything soft really and especially anything with their alphas scent on it and build a nest for them to cuddle up in

-"scenting" is the process of spreading their own unique scent onto things or people in an act of comfort or possession

-people in omegaverse usually have four "Scent Glands" two on the neck and one on each wrist. When the glands are stimulated their scent becomes more potent and sticks to whatever or whoever is closest

-Both male and female Omegas can get pregnant and while it is possible for a male omega to get a female omega pregnant, a female omega can't impregnate anyone

-"Mpreg" male pregnancy, the only males that can get pregnant in omegaverse are the omegas

-Omegas are stereotypically submissive and genial creatures. They tend to fall more heavily in the category of homemaker, caretaker, and child bearer.

Male- Omega males tend to be smaller in height and bulk than their counterparts and have more difficulty putting on muscle mass. They are capable of giving birth and capable of impregnating others though it is less likely.

Betas:

-Betas are basically like normal humans, in omegaverse they are below alphas but still above omegas

-betas can have any kind of appearance, there isn't really a set expectation for them

-they don't go through ruts or heats but they can still bond

-they tend to mate with other betas

-like normal humans, male betas cannot get pregnant and female betas cannot impregnate anyone.

-Betas are still affected by the sent of alphas and omegas in rut or heat but their reactions tend to be less extreme and their urge to procreate is considerably tamer.

Things in my book that aren't up there ^

Omegas heal faster than alphas and betas, alphas coming in second and betas last.

An omegas heat last 4-5 days.

Alphas rut last 2-3 days.

Omegas go into heat twice a year.

Alphas go into rut only once in mating season.

When omegas are in heat their senses are heightened and very sensitive.

Omegas are faster than alphas and betas, betas coming in second and alphas last.

Omegas can produce a high pitched whine (aka omega voice) they use this whine when they absolutely need somebody to listen to them or to get the attention of another person. They also can use this as a defense mechanism. If they get to scared they'll make their voice a higher pitch in order to hurt an alphas or a betas ears. This voice does not affect other omegas.

"Omega purr" is an omegas way of showing submission or telling someone that their scared. This is also used to call there mate when they feel threatened or need help with something.

"Omega bark" is used as a last resort when they feel threatened. Omega bark lets members of their pack know their hurt, but if threatened enough an omega will do this in order to come across as weak and injured so they ain't seen as much of a threat on an enemies territory.

I think I made this up purely for my book, but if their is something like this let Me know! 😊) "alpha look" is when an alphas eyes turn yellow and their pupils turn into slits, along with this they also grow long fangs and look way more intimidating that they already do. Alpha look is mainly used for fighting purposes to make the alpha look more fierce, but is sometimes used to scare or make an omega submissive. This can also be used on betas, but is less effective.

Omegas are highly affected by an "alpha look" when greeted by this an omega will usually bare its neck in submission, cower down, not make eye contact, or even completely freeze due to fear if their in a closed place. If their not in a closed place they will flee from the alpha to find their nest or find a place to build one.
