Chapter 7

All of a sudden there was a loud beeping noise in Emily's room they ran to the door opened it and... They saw that the machine had been tampered with, tubes were all over the floor and Emily was gasping for air, though her wound was to the eye they still put a breathing tube on her and if it was still in but not working she couldn't breathe... (I'm not a doctor so I don't know if any of this is even possible)
The doctor ran in to the room and yelled out "I NEED DOCTORS IN HERE STAT!!!" She yelled trying to plug the breathing tube back in. suddenly three to four doctors rushed in and put everything back in place but by then it was to late the damage had been done to Emily. What had happened was that someone not only unplugged her breathing tube but at the moment medicines where being put in Emily's blood stream to help her heal quicker and that had been tampered with and replaced with something else for just a few seconds not to mention the stabs from the syringe that were all over her stomach there was blood on the bed and the doctors rushed Emily out of the room and into the emergency room, and they began surgery for a second time

****2 1/2 hours later****

Doctor lays walked out of the room and into the small waiting room that was just outside the closed hallway that had the surgery rooms and all that in side of it. She approached Emily's brothers, they all stood up immediately when they saw her.
"How is she?" Asked Jason
"Will she be okay?" Asked Caleb
Shane and Daniel both had a look on there face that said 'tell us what happened'

"Okay so she had some minor wounds and some bigger wounds, the good news is that they are all patched up now, so you don't have to worry about that, umm there was some chemical put into her bloodstream however, that makes the body shut down, if we hadn't gotten there when we did she could have... Died, now there are still some traces of the chemical in her blood stream that we couldn't get so for the next couple of weeks maybe even a month or two she will feel some dizziness, or feel light headed, she will experience pain from time to time but it is normal so don't worry to much about that, but other than that she is good and will be able to go home in about two to three days, and if all goes well maybe even 1 day"

Sighs of relief filled the waiting room
"When can we see her?" Asked Caleb
"Well maybe not for another hour or so we still need to run some more tests and then she'll be back in her room in no time" said Dr. Lays with a smile
"Well I have to get back in there, but you boys should go home get some rest and something to eat, she'll be out in an hour but she will be groggy and sleepy, so she won't be up for hours when she gets out, so please go home and rest, she will be fine, I won't let anything happen to her she is in good hands"
Said Dr. Lays
"Yea we probably should"said Jason
"No I'm not leaving" said Caleb
"Caleb were all tired just don't argue and come on" said Jason
"Yea we should go so that shane can talk to Charlene and straighten everything out, and if I may, can I punch her?!" Said Danny
"No I'm not talking to her today!" Said shane
"What if she was the one that snook in and did this to em?! Huh" said Danny
"Well she would have had to be invisible because the window is bolted shut and you can't get in without passing us so..." Said shane
"Actually I did see a nurse go in there and she left right before the beeping noise started, could she have disguised herself?" Asked Dr. Lays
"Whoa guys Charlene would never escalate to that point!"said shane
"we will figure it out later, right now we will go home and sleep!" Said Jason
They nodded and began walking towards the door
When Jason turned around and said to Dr. Lays
"Thank you so much! We really appreciate what you've done!"
"It's my job sweet heart, and I would do anything for my niece and nephews" she said smiling at him
"Do me a favor and call me when she wakes up okay" said Jason
"Sure thing kido" said Dr. Lays
"And I'll check the security footage in the room to see if I can see who it was" said the doctor
"That would be great, but I thought they didn't put cameras in rooms" said Jason
"They didn't but they started recently and it's only on certain parts of the room so the patient still has privacy" said the doctor
"Well please do that, now I've got to go, thanks again" said Jason running off.
