Anne was listening to the tapes while driving towards school.
It was the story of Marcus Cole.
First there was Courtney who let down Hannah because she was afraid people would find out she was gay and proceeded to spread even more bad rumors about her.
Now we had some asshole who tried to get it on with Hannah.

Anne entered the halls of Liberty High. She walked towards one of the only places she could relax.
As soon as she entered she heard a voice yell.
"Doesn't anyone know what the red light means?!"
She walked forward showing herself to Tyler.
"Sorry, i still haven't learned."

"Ohw, hey Anne."
The boy smiled nervously at her.
Her attention was turned towards the pictures hanging around the room.
"Do you uhm by any chance still have pictures of the winter formal?"
She turned around waiting fpr his awnser.
"Yeah, why?"

"Well after listening to some of the tapes, i just remembered that night again. I just wanted to see some of the pictures that were taken."
The boy nodded in return.
"If you want, i can show you them some day?"
Smiling at the boy she replied.
"I would like that."

School was over and Anne was finally back home. It was time to listen to Marcus' tape further.
But her father came inside.
"What's the matter, father?"

"I will be off for a few days. While i'm gone, try not to ruin everything or burn down the house. It wouldn't surprise me if you did something stupid like that, you wasteless child. Not after the last time.
Have a great time while i'm gone, sweetie."
He finished with an unsettling smile and left.
Anne glared at the door where her father stood just a second ago.
"Asshole."

She put her headphones back on and pressed play.

Anne was sitting at the table across Jeff and Clay together with Tony.
"So Tony, what are your plans this valentine?"

"Not much, you?"
Anne thought for a while.
"Probably sit in my room very quietly, pretending I don't exsist."
Tony chuckled in response when their attention turned to the table next to them.

"What do I like to do in weekends? Play videogames. Dude, why don't you just say you watch Lord of the Rings on repeat."
It was Jeff checking out Clay's dollar valentine card.
"I don't do that. Anymore."
Tony gave his friend a look as if saying 'are you serious?'.
Anne replied to Jeff.
"Hey what's wrong with that? Excuse me, Lord of the Rings is amazing and totally acceptable to watch on repeat."
Jeff lightly nudged her.
"Don't team up with him."
He turned back around to Clay.
"Let's change this up for you, shall we."
Jeff started filling in Clay's card.
"Why do I even have to take part on this valentine thing?"
Anne layed her head on Jeff's shoulder while smiling at Clay.
"Because we want you to get a date with someone called Hannah Baker."
Clay rolled his eyes.
"You're doing this, Jensen."
Clay looked back at Jeff.
"Now you two are teaming up against me."
Anne and Jeff bumped fists while smiling at Clay.

Anne got her results back and she wasn't extremely dissapointed.
On her paper stood a few names.
Some she recognized and some she didn't.
The one name she wanted wasn't on there so she threw it in the trash.

Her phone started buzzing. She picked up without looking who called.
"Hello, who is this?"

"Hey Anne, uhm I got your name on the dollar valentine thing so i wanted to ask if you would like to go on a date with me?"
Anne smiled hearing how nervous he was asking her.
"I would love to."
She heared him sigh in relief.
"Okay, then I'll see you tonight."

"I'll see you later, my date." she chuckled.
