Night on the Town

*Stampy's POV*

I was at home working on baking a cake I hummed a little tune as I worked on mixing the batter. Baking cakes were always a favorite of mine it was a sacred recipe of my own design. The reason I was baking this cake is because Dan was so excited after a phone call from his friend Trayaurus. Something about changing the future of science before he left to his little meeting with Trayaurus he kissed me quick and zoomed out the door. I couldn't help but giggle at his jolly demeaner so yeah that's why I decided to bake him a cake I hope he likes it.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by the sound of the front door opening. "HONEY IM HOME!!!" Dan yelled walking into the kitchen. I couldn't help but laugh at his out burst he always did the strangest things when he either wanted to annoy someone or just make them laugh. In this case he was probably trying to make me laugh and it worked so I'm not going to complain to me it was actually very cute. "hey Dan things went good I suppose?" I said wanting to know what he had to do to apparently change the future of science. "not really actually I got stabbed in the hand wanna see" he said surprisingly still cheerful he probably just wanted to see how I would react. "WHAT?!?!" I yelled grabbing his hand seeing a small scar not much of a stab wound I still was worried though "why were you stabbed in the hand Dan?" I said with the still worried expression on my face. He pulled me into a hug "don't worry Stampy it was just part the machine's process. It needed some of my DNA or whatever" he said while petting my head. I couldn't help but purr as he did this I pulled back a little. "So wait what kind of machine would need your DNA?" I asked with a puzzled look glued to my face confused by what Trayaurus would need that for. "Oh nothing for now I got a special night planned out for me and you". He said pulling a orange rose with a goldish tip into my hair right next to my right cat ear. "oh do we now?" I said playfully lifting an eyebrow "so what may I ask is this special evening you speak of" I say trying to sound suave but failing because of my giggling. "You my dear Stampy are coming with me on a night on the town" he said as he pulled me up and pulled me closer to his chest. "hmmm I don't see why not" I say in my usual cheerful tone. We separated to get dressed I put on my orange hoodie and blue scarf that Dan got me back during Christmas I came out of the bedroom to see Dan waiting by the door. He was wearing a dark blue turtle neck with a scarf that was orange and had a little kitty head on the end of it. I took him by the hand and we left the house to stroll through the city. For the rest of that night we went to see the city that shimmered in all its glory. We went to see the swans at the lake in the park we sat on a bench looking at the swans. I leaned my head against Dan's shoulder he leaned his head so it was on top mine. "You know how much I love you right Stampy" he looked down at me with those shimmering brown eyes. "yes I do and I love you beyond my hearts content" we looked into each others eyes before leaning into a kiss of true passion that seemed to last an eternity. We pulled away looking at the full moon in all its beauty hoping nothing could ever get in the way of the beautiful relationship.
