Taehyung have never felt this happy and complete before he met Jeongguk.

His father died after a week he met Jeongguk and since then he was living with Jeongguk.

His father died because he was killed. His body was burned until he was unrecognizable.

His father has many enemies so it wasn't really shocking but still Taehyung felt sad. Because although the man practically abused him. He was still his father.

Living with Jeongguk was like heaven on earth. Jeongguk treated him with so much care and love.

He make him felt like he was truly loved. Something that he crave for so long.

" Taebaby.. "

Jeongguk slurred out. He snuggled his head into the crook of Taehyung's neck.

He pressed his lips against Taehyung's soft tan skin.

Taehyung giggled feeling ticklish when Jeongguk started to kiss his neck.

No they were not boyfriends. They were just friend. They were just comfortable with eachother.

" Gguk.. "

" Hmm? "

" Can I.. Can I visit my father's grave? "

Jeongguk froze and stopped kissing Taehyung's neck.

" You sure you want to? "

Taehyung nodded. Jeongguk tighten his arms around Taehyung's waist.

" Okay.. Anything you want baby.. "

Hearing those words Taehyung's cheek turned pretty pink.

" Stop saying cheesy think you sly fox! "

" But you like them don't you? "

Jeongguk chuckled. Taehyung hit his chest playfully.

" Father.. "

Taehyung stood in front of his father's grave. Tears threatening to roll down his cheek.

Jeongguk stood behind him. He just stood there staring at Taehyung's back.

Taehyung kneeled and put the bouquet of lily beside the grave. His father and mother's favourite flower.

His father had change after his mother left them. He used to be so kind and gentle. He used to be a great father.

But he changed.

Taehyung missed the old him.

Taehyung tears rolled down his cheek. Jeongguk quickly hugged him. He pushed Taehyung's face into his chest.

He let Taehyung cried into his chest. Taehyung was shaking. His hand curled around Jeongguk's shirt.

After his mental breakdown, Taehyung apologized. But Jeongguk just smiled gently.

" It's okay..  You can always cry on me tae.. I'll always be there for you. I'll protect you. "

He said.

Taehyung believed him.

He believed Jeongguk will always be there for him. He believed Jeongguk will be there if he need a shoulder to cry to.

But now Taehyung wondered,

Where was he when Taehyung was crying?

Where was he when Taehyung need a shoulder to cry to?

He said he will be there for him. So where was him?

He said he will protect Taehyung.

But why?

Why did he become the reason Taehyung cried when he promised to protect him and be there for him?
