Tyler was talking out of Mystic Falls High to his car, as he talked to one of his friends. "All right, later, man." He said.

      "See you, bro!" The man said.

      Tyler got into his car, jumping in surprise when he realised that Vicki was there. "Hi, Ty."

      "Whoa, Vicki? Everyone's looking for you!" Tyler exclaimed out of surprise.

      "I know." Vicki said nonchalantly.

      "What's wrong, Vick?" Tyler asked, concern lacing his voice.

      "I'm so cold." Vicki admitted.

      "You're on drugs!? Everyone thinks you're off on a bender." Tyler exclaimed, trying to get to the bottom of what was wrong with the girl.

      "I wish." Vicki whispered.

      "What happened in those woods, Vicki? Those kids that were killed. What did you see?" Tyler asked.

      "I'm so scared."

      "Come here. It's okay. I'll take you home." Tyler offered, lifting his arm to pull Vicki into a hug.

      "I can't control it." Vicki said, talking about her bloodlust.

      "Control what?" Tyler asked, clearly confused to what she was talking about.

      "I am so hungry, Ty. And it won't go away." Vicki said, about to lose all her control.

      "What are you on? What drugs did you take?"  Tyler asked.

      "I want it. I am so hungry, Ty." Vicki repeated.

      "Okay look, I'll get you something to eat. Just sit back. Look, let's just get you home, okay? Whoa! Vicki! What is wrong with you?!" Tyler asked, now becoming worried for his own safety as well as Vicki's.

      Vicki attacked Tyler, sinking her fangs into his neck. Stefan pulled her off of him just in time, before too much damage was done. "Aah! Let go of me!" Vicki yelled. As Stefan did this, Emilia and Damon appeared, ready to take Vicki down so that they could calm her down and teach her to control the bloodlust she had.

      "What's going on here, Stefan? What's wrong with her?" Tyler asked, not knowing anything about what was going on.

      "You don't talk." Damon said, aiming his statement at Tyler.

      "Screw you, dude." Tyler said angrily.

      "'Dude'? Really? 'Dude'?" Damon asked, getting very angry at Tyler, and looking as though he was about to attack the boy.

      "Damon, don't!" Emilia yelled.

      "Oh come on. Who's gonna miss this idiot?" Damon asked, right before Tyler hit him.

      "Ooh! Don't you hurt him." Vicki warned.

      Damon grabbed Tyler by the throat and compelled him. "Forget what you saw here tonight. None of us were here." He threw Tyler down to the ground before speeding off with his younger siblings and Vicki in tow. Tyler got up and all of them were gone.

Back at the Salvatore boarding house, Emilia and Stefan were teaching Vicki how to control her bloodlust, just in case there would be other incidents just like the one that night.

      "I don't understand why I have to stay cooped up here. Why can't I just go home?" Vicki asked, as she sat on one of the many chairs that were scattered around the room.
