I woke up out of Alicia bed looking around. Shit, I thought I was in that nasty ass motel. Thank god I'm here.
I walk to Alicia bathroom so I do my hygienes. I brush my teeth, wash my face, and brush my hair. After my hygienes, I walk to alicia kitchen seeing her cooking breakfast.
"Mmmmm, something smells good"I said.
"I'm surprise it smells good. Wonder if it taste good"Alicia laugh.
"Probably does"I smiled. I sat on the bar stool and waited for her to be done with it. After two minutes of cooking and cursing under her breath, she was finally done. The bad thing was, she burnt it.
"Ughhh I knew this shit was gone be hard to do"she said.
"Okay, how about we go to Ihop"I said.
"Yeah sure"alicia smiled. I got up and walk over to my bag. I pick out some clothes to get dress in.
I pick out my pink shirt with camo jeans and my pink yezzys. I hurried up and got dress then grab my things. Alicia was already dress and ready.
"Ready?"she ask.
"Yeah"

I walk in IHOP getting stares from some men. I remeber they asses too. They come to the club. Alicia was smiling all in their faces. One their wives look up at us.
"Is that one of your hoes Robert?"the wife ask. She slap the hell out his face and left out of ihop.
"Damn, we must be some bad bitches if females are leaving Ihop"alicia said laughing.
"Probably so"I said.
"Okay ladies, can I start you off with something to drink?"the waitress ask.
"I want pink lemonade. Genesis what you want?"
"May I have some sprite"I said.
"Sure can. Ima be back with your drinks"the waitress walked off. Me and alicia talked about life and men. She told me how she don't even want to date men anymore. I felt her on that one. I'm not going gay or bi. I still want to have sex with men but not right now.
As me and her was talking, I felt someone staring at me. I turn around seeing my cousin ava. "Ava?"I called her name. Her light hazel eyes spark when she saw me.
"G-Genesis"she got up from her chair and came to me. We hugged for a while then sat by me leaving her company. "How you get to California?"
"My mom. How you get down here?"
"I met my boyfriend over there and he moved me down here. I'm DIV free"she smiled.
"Oh god. Is that something else for HIV?"Alicia said. Ava look at her with a mean mug. "What?"

"Okay, let me talk to you for a second"I grab ava hand and walk to the IHOP entrance. We walk out and went to the side of the building. "You heard from king?"
"Hell no. I don't want to hear from him"she said. "Why you asking?"
"I don't know. Something telling me that we ain't gone be free for long"I said.
"That's why I have a man. Claim that little aisan bitch as your bitch"ava said.

"I work at a strip club"I said.
"Strip? Why genesis"she ask.
"The only thing I can think of and its easy money. I can't enroll into a college with no money"I said.
"You right"ava nod her head.
"Life is hard right now ava. I was sleeping in a motel where roaches climb on top of me and bugs. Alicia gave me a home"I said.
"Well, I feel bad"ava sigh.
"I have to try and make her want me to stay cause I don't have no where else to go"

"What if king find me ava. He will kidnap both of us"I said. "Ima just have to wait till mom and Garry move down here"
"Alright"ava said. "Let's go back in, I'm starving"
