The Range Rover pulled up next to me and Ashley. I look inside the car just to see if anyone wasn't in there. "Get in"Jerome said. I open the passenger door hopping inside the car.
Jerome took off. He made a U- turn making his way down the road. Ashley blew out some air rubbing her head. "Thank you sir for rescuing us"Ashley said.
"What he did now?"Jerome ask.
"He locked me in the basement and he abused her"I said.
"Damn"Jerome said. "Look, I got place for y'all to stay"
"You can drop me off by my parents house. They have to be looking for me. I been missing for two days"Ashley said.
"Wait, how old are you Ashley?"Jerome ask.
"I'm 17"she said. "King met me at this party and he told me he liked me and wanted me to leave with him. He lied and said he was gone drop me off home"
"He needs to go to jail"I said.
"He will. The police will find out about him sooner or later"Jerome said pulling up to this house. I looked at how big it was.

"I'm a lawyer"Jerome said.
"Just a lawyer"I said.
"And I have this program. I help women like you get off the streets and get off drugs"Jerome said.
"How you know I was drugs?"I ask.
"You was scratching yourself, picking at your face thinking that something is crawling on you...."
"I don't want to hear it"I said. I kept thinking about how I just let myself go. I was never like this. I never liked drugs till I met that man who was. I prostitute my body for drugs.
I hop out the car with Ashley and made my way to the door. Jerome unlock the door and open it. I walked in hearing voices somewhere in the house. "Who is that?"I ask him. He nod his head towards the doorway.
I walk with him to the living room I guess and seen some girls all talking and laughing. "Hello ladies, momma"Jerome kiss this middle age lady.
"Who is this?"she ask looking at me.
"This is Genesis and Ashley"Jerome said. "I rescue them from king"
"Wait y'all know king too?"one of the girls ask.
"Yes, he was my pimp"I said.
"He was gone put me on the streets but I told him no and he beated me"Ashely sniffle.
"Oh darling"Jerome mom got up from her seat. "Come, I'll show you your room"I watch as Ashley walked with her.
"Come on, I'll show you your room"Jerome said. I nod my head and followed him.
