Use to be...
Do you remember how it used to be?
Every day we found time for you and me
In between work and everything else too
We spent time together, just me and you
We took time in the mornings just to chat
We made time for each other, where ever we were at
And in the evenings just before bed
We discussed everything that ran thru our heads
We were so close back then, and I miss those times we had
Sometimes when I think about it, it makes me feel sad
Sad that things aren’t really the same
Even though neither of us is to blame
I just wanted to tell you and let you know
I still carry you with me where ever I go
I hope that sometimes you think of me
And remember the way things used to be
I hope, if that happens, once in awhile
The memories we made can make you smile
