I wake up slowly while stretching my body and feel nothing on my side. I then slightly open my eyes and can hear the talking news on the TV. I raise my heavy body and while rubbing my eyes, I say

I then for some weird reason I feel relieved and started walking to him.

Why do I feel revealed that he is here? Was I afraid he wasn't gonna be here and leave me?

I see him sitting on the couch with his coffee on the one hand and on the other one the remote control while changing the channels. I smile and I grab his coffee from his hand and sip a bit.
