so yes there are manga spoilers but it's for chapter 188 and the place we're at in the anime at the moment is just before chapter 100 so there isn't much to worry about if you only watch the anime because we're not getting close to this anytime soon. and, i think this is a pretty important subject to cover and i'm too scared to share it on tumblr so,,
anyway.

so yes I’m happy Endeavor got… damaged to say the least. And I say I’d be happy if he died, however I don't know if that’s the case, for a few reasons:

1, Endeavor was the only character I could avidly hate and despise. I love every character in bnha (you could say Hagakure counts, however my hatred for her is more out of mild disrespect more than and anything), but Endeavor was really the only asshole character that I despised with my entire being, for what he did to Todoroki and Rei and just how he acts as a person and an unworthy hero in general. It’s really fun hating on Endeavor, and if he were gone I don't think I’d be able to handle the loss ;-; Though that’s one of the more minor reasons.
2, Endeavor was actually kind of starting to redeem himself. Now, I haven't read through maybe chapters 120-170, which is a huge chunk of info I’ve missed out on, but, from what I’ve been hearing, Endeavor is trying to rekindle his relationship with his whole family. And, in the previous chapter, it was revealed by Rei that Enji actually sends her favorite flowers to her room in the mental hospital, and while that’s very sweet on it’s own, it was also revealed that she only told him what her favorite flowers were once when they met, which was over two decades ago. He’s trying, and we know he feels at least somewhat bad for how he treated Rei and Todoroki growing up. He feels some sort of sympathy, and that’s a huge deal. But this is nothing compared to the next reason, however;
3, Imagine how it would effect Shouto. Now, obviously Shouto hasn't had the best upbringing with Endeavor, my poor baby boy can't seem to catch a break at all. However, we also know that while he does hate his father, he holds a deep respect for him and even a sort of attachment. Shouto sees Endeavor as not quite an obstacle he has to overcome, but as a driving force. Endeavor may force him to become greater than him, and Shouto does want to do that, but not in the way Endeavor wants him to. Shouto sees Endeavor as a person with twisted ideals that he can push away from and create better ideals through that. It’s complicated, but if Shouto didn't have Endeavor, he wouldn't have much to keep him going. This seems a bit weird and like I’m grasping for straws, yes, but look at these two reaction shots from Shouto as he watches Endeavor get hurt:

Shouto looks worried. And if not worried, then scared and confused and he has no idea what to do. From that second reaction shot, it looks as if in the next chapter he’s going to try to do something or make a move, hopefully Aizawa or his friends will stop him before anything happens, or maybe he’ll even have a bit of a breakdown judging by his expression, though I kind of doubt it. But besides that, if Endeavor does die, think about the effect it will have on Shouto’s mental health. As odd as it sounds, there is a huge effect on the mental health of people who’s abusers die. And, despite everything, Endeavor is still his father. No matter how horrible he was, Shouto still has an attachment to him as his father. Endeavor dying would be horrible for Shouto’s physical and mental health, there's no telling how harshly he'll react to something like that.

And even so, I doubt Endeavor really will die. There's not much death in bnha, and I don't think Endeavor dying would be very important to the story. Of course, if he doesn't die, there may very likely be brain damage and there will be a scar on his abdomen and left eye (the same place Shouto’s scar is, hm? Well played, Horikoshi.) but other than that I don't think anything like death will be a thing. I'm kind of scared for the next chapter now. God, I hope Shouto doesn't lash out or anything.

Long story short:
Let Todoroki rest jfc.
Please just give him a break, Horikoshi, we're begging you.
I want all of Class 1-A to just surround him in a huge group hug and then bury him in warm blankets and pillows and comfort him. Please. He needs love and relaxation. Pleeeaaase. LET HIM REST.
