Josie took a deep breath as she hit the first floor button. She brushed off her dress as her hand holding her phone shook from her nervousness

The ding rang through the elevator as the doors opened and she stepped out. She smiled and walked to Jamie, explaining she'll be home later and he should keep an eye out

"Text me when you're on your way home" he smiled as she waved and walked through the front doors. Josh rolled down his window to see the girl walking towards him in the parking lot

"Hello" she spook with happiness as he unlocked the car and leaned over to open her door. He nodded back as she got in

Most of the car ride was silent, the radio very quiet as the two said nothing, but just exchanged looks. It was weird, a freshman and sophomore. Josh never thought he'd be with a freshman, but one note getting him into a party was the perfect reason to be here with her

The car parked outside a town house, each side lit up from the people inside

"Which side" Josh asked as he took Josie's hand in his

"Which ever side can get me hyper faster" she smiled as he lead her to the left side, grabbing a solo cup for each of them as they went through the entrance that some guy opened for them. Josh knew him, but Josie stood awkwardly until he made a comment towards her, making it worse

Already regretting not going with Corbyn's choice, she smiled weakly before going to the kitchen to get a water

"Garage" a girl spoke to her as she came out of the garage, holding a water bottle. She knew what Josie needed, even without asking

"I need a damn water" she whispered to herself, searching through the dark garage. Quickly tripping over her shoes, she took in a deep breath and stood up

Turning on her phone's flashlight, she looked around the garage, finally finding a box of water bottles in the corner

"God damn. Hiding" she laughed. Stabbing a hole in the top, she picked out a water bottle and put some water in the solo cup

Turning off the flashlight and putting the half full water bottle in a corner, she walked back into the house, shutting the door to the small garage

Passing through people, she knew she shouldn't be here. But shoving those thoughts to the back of her mind, she joined in various conversations, trying to look like a college kid and not lost puppy

One drinks, two shots, and three hours later, Josie was stumbling from person to person in either house. She couldn't control herself and needed to find Josh to drop her off
