it seemed like she'd forgotten what occured that morning, and her priority at the moment became kuan lin. entering her house quietly, he noticed the many vents and filters that were around her house. he followed her into the kitchen, in awe at the beautiful and organized things.

as he waited shyly for saejin to find all of the medicine, someone cleared their throat, startling saejin. "oh, mom? i thought you were at work." saejin's voice trembled.

"i'm sorry, i'll leave if you want to." kuan lin says quietly. feeling as if he was an intruder, and knowing that this wasn't exactly the best first impression on saejin's mom.

saejin feared her mom's answer, knowing very well she didn't like the boy in the house. "no, dont leave." this shocked saejin, "if you make my daughter happy, you make me happy." she raises her hands up, and smiles.

she leaves the room, however, not before mothing a soft; "he's a keeper." to her daughter.
