Prompt: it's been six months since Corbyn and Daniel found out that Jonah was playing them. And in those six months, Daniel and Corbyn have fallen for one another. So Corbyn decides its time to ask out Daniel officially and make it official

-Corbyn's POV-

"Dani!" I yelled for my best friend and crush as I walked in his room.

It's been six months since I moved in with him. After everything that happened with Jonah. It took us three months to fully recover. It was definitely easier with Dani by my side. He made it better and easier. And along the way, I fell for him. I couldn't help it. Everything about him was just so perfect.

"Yea bean?" He came from his bathroom as I suddenly got nervous. I was about to ask him out. I decided that now was the time. 

"I was wondering," I started as I looked down and rubbed the back of my neck. "If you would like to um go on a date?" I asked him shyly as a blush formed on my cheeks.

I heard his feet come my way then felt two fingers on my chin as he slowly lifted my head to look at him in the eyes.

"I would love to," He whispered while giggling.

"And I love your shyness," he said causing me to blush again as he giggled.

"Tonight at 8, be ready, dress fancy," I whispered as I rested my forehead to his.

"I'll be ready," he smiled and I headed out of the room to make the perfect date.

-date time-

I fixed my bow tie then played with my ring that my momma had given me as I waited for Dani to come down the stairs. I was wearing a tuxedo cause I planned on taking us to a fancy restaurant. Then a ride around the city.

My head snapped to the stairs as I heard Dani come down the stairs. My breath hitched once I saw Dani. He looked absolutely breathtaking in his own tuxedo.

"You look absolutely breathtaking," I told him as I held out my hand for him to take which he did while a blush coated his cheeks.

"You don't look so bad yourself," he commented as we headed for the door.

"After you," I said and he walked out the door while I stayed behind to look the door.

Once the door was locked, I quickly ran in front of Daniel and held the door open for him as he giggled but climbed in the door. 

-at the fancy restaurant-

"Corbyn! This place is expensive," gasped Daniel as I pulled up to the valet parking.

"Anything for you," was the only thing I said before I got out and went to Daniel's door as a man got in the car.

Daniel stepped out and I closed the door then the man went to park the door as his partner handed me a paper that I will have to give back to get my car back.

"Reservation under Besson," I told the host as she nodded after scanning the paper and grabbed two menus then led us to our table.

-after the date and back home-

"Today was one of the best nights ever," said dani as we cuddled in his bed, him being the little spoon.

"I'm really happy you enjoyed it," I told him as I kissed his forehead.

"After Jonah, I didn't think I would be able to trust someone again. It felt love didn't exist anymore. But you, you changed it. You made it make sense. Jonah and I we would just fuck and cuddle. And he would leave. We had dates once a month. I never questioned why. I did one time and he said because of his work. So I didn't question it again." Said dani as he held eye contact with me.

"But I'm glad I didn't. Cause then that would mean I would have never met you," He smiled as he came up and pecked my lips causing a smile to appear on my face.

"Love you just makes sense to me," I confessed to him as I rested my forehead on his. "With Jonah, I just went along with it. I did love him. But it was different. But with you, it just makes sense," I whispered to him as I leaned down and pecked his lips this time.

"This," I said pointing between us while intertwining our hands.

"Is meant to be," I said while pulling him into a passionate kiss.
