Chapter 10 : Happily Ever After

~ Jihoon's POV ~
It was finally time. Prom's finally here. When I wanted to go, I put on my outfit as neat as I can. Then, I headed straight to prom. At prom, I came just in time. Y/N was already there dancing with Seungcheol.
Jihoon : Seungcheol!
He turned and I came to him.
Seungcheol : Jihoon! Hi!
Y/N : Hi oppa.
Jihoon : Where's the rest?
Y/N : They're back stage. Are you ready for your performance or should I say, debut?
Jihoon : Yup.
We went back stage and performed. When we finished, we met Y/N back stage. She was smiling proudly. She ran with her arms wide open. I thought she was running to Seungcheol. But she actually ran to me. She hugged me and was so happy over the song.
Y/N : I'm so proud of y'all! Especially you, Jihoon oppa! I love the lyrics of the song! You too Soonyoung oppa! The choreography was lit! I'm your biggest fan!
I blushed a little. She was so cute.
Jihoon : Th-thanks...
She smiled and pulled my hand.
Y/N : Let's dance.
She pulled me and we started dancing. Suddenly, Taeyong came.
Taeyong : What are you doing with my girl?
Y/N : Taeyong, go away.
Taeyong : Y/N, why are you with him?
Y/N pulled my hand. She dragged me to the drink stand.
Y/N : I am so sorry about Taeyong. He's a total jerk.
Jihoon : Y/N, it's fine.
She sweetly smiled and looked down. Suddenly, the MC spoke up.
MC : Everyone, I hope you all are enjoying the party. Now let's hear a few words from the student council president, Choi Y/N.
Y/N : We'll continue this later.
Jihoon : Good luck.
~ Y/N's POV ~
I went backstage to meet up with Tzuyu, Wendy, and Eunha.
Y/N : Hey guys.
Eunha : Are you ready?
Y/N : Let's go.
We went on stage.
Y/N : Hi everyone.
I looked at the front seats and saw Seventeen smiling at me.
Y/N : I would like to thank... ( speech about school stuff ).
After the speech, everyone clapped.
Y/N : Before I end this speech, I have one question.
The whole room went silent. I inhaled a deep breath.
Y/N : These days, I've been receiving letters from someone. He told me to ask this in prom. So, I'd like to know who sent those letters. Please stand up.
Surprisingly, Jihoon oppa shyly stood up. I couldn't contain my excitement. I went down the stage to him.
~ Jihoon's POV ~
Y/N looked at me. I knew it. She hated me.
Jihoon : Go ahead. Get mad.
Y/N : I'm not mad oppa.
She kissed my lips gently. She then stopped.
Y/N : I'm really happy. I actually... Like you too.
My eyes widened. I hugged her tightly.
Jihoon : Choi Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?
Y/N : Yes.
The music started playing again.
Jihoon : I have something for you.
I took out the letter I wrote. She read it and smiled. She then took out a ring inside the envelope.
Y/N : I love it! I promise I won't take it off.
I pulled her for a hug.
Jihoon : Saranghae Y/N.
Y/N : Saranghae.
