"He woke up from dreaming and put on his shoes
Started making his way past two in the morning
He hasn't been sober for days..."

A soft and beautiful singing was found in the darkness, and slowly, I opened my eyes. A white ceiling zoomed to view. My hand stirred and my eyes tried to survey the room.

Huh. So I'm still alive, after all.

"He pleads though he tries
But he's only denied
Now he's dying to get inside..."

My face turned to the right. Alex was lying carelessly on the guest couch, which was a meter away. His eyes were fixed on the ceiling, and his face was blank. I recognized the song he was singing. It was 'Remembering Sunday'.

"Oh, I can see now
That all of these clouds are following me
In my desperate endeavor
To find my whoever, wherever she may be..."

I smiled and cleared my throat.

"I'm not coming back, I've done something so terrible
I'm terrified to speak but you'd expect that from me
I'm mixed up, I'll be blunt
Now the rain is just washing you out of my hair."

Wow. Never expected I could sing.

I stopped, and looked back at him. He sat down with his mouth hanging open, shocked. I chuckled at the sight of him, and tried to stand up but the pain throbbed mercilessly on my sides. "Oh, fuck!" I cursed as I crashed back in bed. Alex raced beside me as quick as he can. "Shit, Stell." his eyes were starting to produce tears. "Thank God, you're okay.". Watching him trying to stop himself from crying filled my gut with guilt. "I'm sorry." I whispered as I reached my arm out to wipe his tears. Alex sniffed, and smiled though his eyes were red. He pulled out the nearest chair he could find and had sat beside my bed.

"Alex, here. I bought food for both of us." A familiar voice called out. The door opened, and Tay came in, her face was transfixed with misery. Her eyes were fixed down the ground, and she was completely unaware that I was awake. I smiled, and Alex  winked at me.

"No food for me?" I asked her.

A/N: Hey, Hustlers! So far, so good?

Okay. I'm here to explain out some concepts. As you can see, there are some lines from Remembering Sunday. In that scene, Alex is the one that's singing them. So, he's practically lying on the couch, singing while his face is blank. For the part of Julia Simms (I'm not coming back....) , it was Stella who sung that part. I'm only explaining this so that you guys would avoid misunderstanding this. (But I know y'all are smart. Hahaha.)

If you would be kind enough, please rate, vote, or comment. :)
