Chapter 17

MINA's POV

I walked into class and see no sign of my best friend? Weird. "OH, Mina? welcome back!" My teacher seems so confused but still greets as everyone looked at me in shocked. I furrowed my eyebrows. Welcome back? um.

I took my seat and was taking my stuff out. "How are you alive?" A voice spoke next me making me up jump a bit. Oh great.

Na freaking Jaemin.

"What? What are you talking about? You insane or what?" I asked. Jeez what's up with everyone. Where is Eunha, everyone is so weird!

But then I thought about it.. I don't actually know what happened yesterday. Was there even a yesterday?

Jaemin stays quiet and stares at me. "U-Um earth to Jaemin," I say and he quickly stood up and went back to his seat without saying anything.

Whatever.

JAEMIN's POV

{lunch}

"Guys! Guys!" I yelled quietly as I sat with my group. "Yo" Mark said, bringing all the attention to me. "I- I just saw Mina?" I have never been so confused in my whole life.

"Huh?!" ~ "What?" They all said. "Where's Chenle?" Renjun asked, I looked around and saw no sign of Chenle. Suddenly a phone rang, Jisung. "It's Chenle." He says as he clicked the answer botton.

"Chen-" Jisung was cut off by Chenle's panicking voice. "S-She's here! My sister! I- I don't know how but I'm so confused right now! It's like, it's like she forgot EVERYTHING. Like nothing ever happened! I can't guys, it's creeping me out! Mom and dad won't say anything! Did she pass? What happens to Eun-"

"Okay Okay, Chenle! Listen to me," Mark grabs the phone out of Jisung's hand.

"Just act completely normal okay? Everyone predicted it was a fire but no one knows the truth. Don't worry, I will talk to our manager, he'll explain what's going on but for now, keep doing what you're doing, don't act anything suspicious Okay?" Mark spoke calmly. Then we heard a faint, 'yes' before the call ended.

We all looked at each other completely shocked. "So, she survived." Haechan said blankly. Mark nodded.

"Damn," Jeno exhaled. "Damn indeed," I said.

MINA's POV

I've been feeling super uneasy today. Ever since that car ride I've been feeling as if I've missed something.

OH GOSH

WAS I IN A COMA?!?!!

Because then that would explain why people are staring at me weirdly, like I'm from outer space. Or greeting me as if they haven't seen me for years. Hell I can't even remember what happened yesterday.

This is driving me insane.

I took my bag, ran out of the library and left campus without the security noticing.

I sighed.

I stopped by a coffee shop near our school and took a seat near the window. I used my earphones and played calm music to ease my mind.
