I was shaking with excitement and nerves and I got ready for the date. Chase didn't tell me what to wear so I just threw on a pair of nice jeans, a loose floral shirt that I let hang over one shoulder and my high tops. I then dove into the make-up and set to work on curling my hair but it wouldn't curl. No no no no this can't happen right now!

I tried curling two more pieces of my hair and they just sagged on my shoulders in bent lumps. I made sure that it was plugged in and once I saw that it was I set the iron down on the counter- throwing my hair up into a ponytail. I sighed at my reflection.

I thought you didn't like him. My wolf chuckled.

I don't. I said forcing myself to walk out of the bathroom.

Whatever you say. You know you like him. She said. I wish I could punch her.

I heard the doorbell ring and quickly grabbed my phone-racing down the stairs before my mom could get to the door.  I opened the door to see Chase standing there in all his beauty. He was wearing jeans that fit him so good and a plaid shirt that showed off his arm muscles. Damn. My stomache cringed as I thought of what I looked like in comparison. Shut up Elodie you don't like him.

"You ready?" He asked. I nodded and stepped out the door following him to his car.

"You look very nice by the way." He said opening the door for me. I smiled and thanked him as I got in.

I already felt uncomfortable and on edge from the moment he got in the car. I wanted nothing more then to run back into the house and watch netflix all night. That sounded so nice right now.

"So where are we going? I asked putting my feet up on the dashboard.

"You'll see." He simply said starting to smile a wicked grin that annoyed me and somehow turned me on.

We drove for an hour. A whole hour! I kept nagging him with the 'are we there yet?' questions and when he finally got annoyed he just stopped talking to me.

The car tires crunched the gravel underneath us as Chase parked. We were in the middle of nowhere-all I could see was dirt that turned into grass. Why were we here? He practically leaped out of the car and opened my door. I got out slowly-confusion harboring my every thought. Chase walked to the trunk and got out a backpack that seemed pretty full. He then grabbed my hand and began to walk with me.

From the moment he touched my hand the spark was lit. It was as if an electric shock began from the point of contact and then sent a rush of warmth to the rest of my body.

We walked slowly in silence but it wasn't awkward. I didn't feel the need to bring up a conversation and he didn't either. Silence is beauitful if you dare to notice it. All that we heard was our feet crunching against the gravel and then the grass.

Then Chase broke the silence by stepping in front of me. He held up his hands in a 'stop' motion and I stopped.

"Do you trust me?" He said.

"Not yet." I answered honestly blushing immediately. He looked hurt for a split second but he shook it off and shrugged.

"I need to blind fold you." He said pulling a bandana out of his pocket. I began to back away shaking my head.

"no way." I said.

"Please Elodie." He said. Uhh the way he said my name was just perfect. I shivered.

"FINE." I said through gritted teeth.

He smiled and tied the bandana around me then setting his hands on my shoulders as he began to lead me.
