Book of Godzilla and Kaiju

Shin Gojira 2 (If I did it)

A/N: this was something requested by godzilla15. Since Shin Gojira is at the most possibility of not gaining a sequel.

(Since it was never really claimed for a sequel and they're going to be focused with the World of Godzilla Cinematic Universe).

He wanted to know how a sequel would be if I were to do it. While, I don't think the film needs a sequel, it does leave some interesting possibilities on what could come from a sequel.

1. Now for starters, I would have keep the ton of the first film but still make it different from the first so it's not the same movie.

2. have the film start right after where the first one left off. The reason for this is to try and build dreed among the characters while trying to deal with reconstructing tokyo.

3. Some of the humanoid creatures to fall off, but not yet attack.

What I mean by that is, sometime right after shin gojira was frozen, some of the humanoids on his tail fall off. But I don't want them to start causing havoc just yet. If they do, the american nuclear air strike will be back on.  They each go into hiding in order to evolve a bit more and be capable of taking on the military and let themselves be known.

4. Have a second godzilla break off from the original's body.

Now what I mean by this is, after godzilla free from his frozen prison and saw that the humanoid spawn were whipped out by the military or something, a specific piece of his body would break off and evolve into a second godzilla, albeit, not as evolved as the original, it would increase the trouble further and recall on the nuclear airstrike.  Also, a specific part to fall off would be his tail as it's already growing a face from within it.

5. Keep a good balance between the human and kaiju scenes.

6. Have godzilla mutate and evolve further into another form.

Lets say that after the nuclear airstrike, both godzillas survive, with the original evolving into a further and bigger form.

7. Not to have other kaiju.

While second installment in parts of the godzilla timelines usually add godzilla fighting another kaiju, I don't think shin gojira really needs that as godzilla can technially be many kaiju if parts are blown off and he himself is a terror enough. 

8. Have new shin gojira abilities and adapt to situations. 

Next to him evolving, godzilla would need to improve his abilities into new and more dangerous attacks while still being able to utilize the old one he has. He would also have the ability to begin adapting to situations he would be in, causing things to be even harder for the humans.

9. Have the humans come up with a new weapon to try and kill godzilla. 

We would have the human characters to try and find out a new plan to defeat godzilla and the second.

10. To somehow make it even darker than the original 1954 film. (Which is something that would definitely be impossible).

11. Given the film a dark ending.

So lets say that the new weapon that the humans use doesn't work on the newly evolved godzilla and he would continued to lay waist to what was left of the city. And as he's doing so, one of the characters would monologue about godzilla and his great power and say that japan was just the tip of the iceberg. The rest of the world would be next.

So that's all the things I would do if I ever did a sequel to shin gojira. I hope you like the ideas and have your own kind to share if you like.
