Haruo didn't kill godzilla in the past attempts in the last two films because of things that you are shown why in the films themselves. The first one wasn't the original that killed his parents and the second time was either kill him and let the world be covered in nanometal or destroy mechagodzilla's head. And secondly, in a technical standpoint, he did kill him if cell divided clones are anything to go by.

You also seem to forget that godzilla is a completely different organism of plant compared to any of the naturally born ones we know of.

Because, while he's not wrong about what the director of the films said and I don't agree with the director saying that, It's because the majority of the stuff he said about the films were wrong, but it felt as if he didn't even pay attention to the films at all or he just had half assed arguments all around.
