A/N: so a guy on deviantart informed me that there was a kaiju who was cut from the godzilla anime prequel novels.

The author of the novels, Renji Oki, made a passing mention on how he was going to originally include a certain Demon Beast into the novels. However, he thought it would be impossible cause of copy right and just swapped him for another kaiju. Oki must not have been aware of Bagan was toho's kaiju.
So yeah, that's now 10 or 12 (if he was going to be in all the rebirth of mothra films) times he's been scrapped. Though, this time, it was simply due to the author possibly not having known that the monster belonged to toho.
Come on TOHO, When you eventually get to the point of doing your World of Godzilla Cinematic Universe, put bagan in. Yes, some of the stuff he head was given to other kaiju, but you can just make a few changes. You can still have him be a shape shifter while having the enormous demonic form still being the main form.
